When is the best season to go on this adventure?

Summer is probably the most popular time to visit. You will be able to see the landscape in all its beauty. In the Rockies, this is the best time to see the lakes as they are at their most blue.

How is the weather in this experience?

During Summer (end of June till end of September) very hot and dry, most of times. This Summer was an odd one, but forest fires are most likely to happen around August/September and this can have a negative impact to the experience. Alberta is famous for its extreme temperatures, therefore, during Summer you can experience temperature as high as 34 ºC.

Where does the adventure begin? Will you pick me up at the airport or hotel?

Airport transfers are not included. There are several cab options, including Uber and Lyft, from YVR into downtown Vancouver, where the pick up location is.

Do I need any specific medical records or vaccination?

There are no vaccinations that are required to come to Canada.

What happens if I get sick or injured during the trip and I can't go on?

The guides are trained and will help you, but you have to travel with an insurance that covers any accident or sickness.

Which currency do you recommend to bring?

Canadian dollars; you can exchange at the airport or Vancouver exchange places.

What is not included in this experience?

Flights, meals (other than those mentioned in the itinerary), medical and travel insurance, tips, optional activities, other personal expenses.

If it’s a group experience, what’s the size of the tour groups?

They are always groups of travelers with a very good atmosphere. It can be up to 55 people, but generally they are 12 or less people. The guides will give to you the best and personal attention.

Do you have any suggestions on what to do on my spare days there ?

The tour guide will gladly give you information according to your interests and help out with any extra.

If meals are included, what's the menu going to be like?

It includes continental breakfast (when dinner is included, it usually consists in a Canadian BBQ - burgers and hot dogs).

If meals are not included, what’s the average price of each meal?

We usually stop a grocery stores, so it can vary from person to person. Many of our guests buy sandwiches that can be as cheap as $6. Others prefer to get subway or sushi on the way. When staying in Banff, if you want to have a good dinner, prices can vary from $16 to $60.

What type of accommodation does this adventure include?

It includes hotels in shared rooms: 4 people of the same gender sharing 2 queen sized beds (2 people per bed).

What happens if I’m traveling by myself? Is it possible?

Yes! If you travel alone, do not worry, you will share a room with other members of the group, or you can add an individual supplement.

What’s the minimum age required? Is the price the same for underaged?

The age range is from 6 to 55 years old. Underaged have a 15% discount sharing a room with an adult.

If I get there a day before or leave a day after, where can I stay?

The tour guide will help with the accommodation at your own expense. You can stay in downtown Vancouver, so it's easier to move around.

Is there Wifi and/or Internet and cellphone coverage?

Yes, you will have Wifi at the accommodation. The bus doesn't have WiFi.

What’s the voltage there?

In Canada the voltage is 120 V with 60 Hz frequency.

What's the arrival schedule for day 1?

You should get to the meeting point in Vancouver at 7 am.

At what time does the experience finish the last day?

You will return to Vancouver at 7:30 pm approximately.

In what physical condition should I be to go on this adventure?

You need an average physical condition.

Do I need a travel insurance? What should the insurance cover?

We suggest getting complete travel insurance that covers medical bills and flight cancellations or delays.

What clothes and/or gear should I take with me?

We suggest that you pack light clothing as the days can get reasonably warm. Be sure to bring your swimsuit as there are a few opportunities to take a dip in some of our beautiful lakes. There are also hot tubs at a few of the hotels you will be staying at. Remember to bring along a sweater as well as sometimes the night time temperatures can drop. And as always, bring your trusty rain jacket.

What’s the suggested baggage/backpack size?

We currently only allow for one (1) piece of luggage and a small backpack or handbag due to space constraints. You will need something that you can easily manage to maneuver. If you have excess baggage, we do offer the storage of your additional bags in Vancouver.

Some nationalities, like Mexican, don't need a visa. However, you need an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) to board a flight to Canada. You do not need an eTA for Canada, if you are entering by land or sea – for instance driving from the U.S. or coming by bus, train, or boat, including cruise ship.

Day 1 Vancouver- Fraser Valley- Okanagan Valley

It’s an early start this morning. You will need to arrive at Canada Place at 7:00 am for a 7:15 am departure. Please don’t be late as we will not wait for you to arrive. As you leave Metro Vancouver and travel through the Fraser Valley, you will be greeted with some of the most beautiful sights of the coastal rainforest. The area is steeped in history, the famous annual salmon runs up the Fraser River and give the river and valley a huge importance to the logging industry.
You will then cross from the coastal mountain range into the Okanagan Valley, Canada’s desert region, famous for its wine and fruit farms.
Day 2 Revelstoke- Lake Louise- Emerald Lake or Lake Moraine
7:00 am - 3:30 pm

You will depart Revelstoke and begin the journey to Banff as a final destination of the day. But there is so much to see on the way that you will be blown away. Today is the lake day. Before reaching the first lake, you will travel through the historic Roger’s Pass. From here you will move onto Lake Louise, one of the most famous lakes in the world. The sight of the turquoise lake, complete with a backdrop of a glacier between the valley, is something that you will remember for the rest of your life.
Afterwards, you make a quick stop to get lunch between 12- 1 pm.
You will then travel onto either Emerald Lake or Lake Moraine, depending on the weather conditions. Here you will be able to rent a canoe and see parts of the lake that are inaccessible by foot.
Day 3 Banff- Bow Lake- Athabasca Glacier
9:00 am - 4:45 pm

After enjoying a continental breakfast at your hotel, you will depart Banff and head up the world-renowned Icefields Parkway. You will stop at your final glacial lake of the tour, Bow Lake.
Then, one of the highlights of the adventure awaits: the famous Ice Explorer Glacier Tour (available to add in destination). Here you will have the chance to walk on the Athabasca Glacier. There is an additional cost for this activity, but you will leave with a fresh perspective on just how fragile our planet is.
Day 4 Valemount- Spahats Falls- Kamloops
8:00 am - 1:00 pm

Today is the last breakfast of the adventure at your hotel. The first sightseeing stop of the day is at Spahats Falls in Clearwater. This waterfall is an idyllic venue for a photo opportunity. The cut in the mountain that the water has created over millennia is the funnel point for this gushing waterfall as it cascades down into the bowl below.
