Accommodation

Kathmandu: Accommodation in a 3-star hotel (Hotel Holy Himalaya or similar) on a twin/double sharing bed and breakfast basis. Trekking Route: Accommodation in guesthouses during the trek.

Trekking Guide: Government-licensed, English-speaking guide during the trek.

Meals

In Kathmandu: Breakfast at the hotel is included. Lunch and dinner are not included but can be enjoyed at various local restaurants.

Flights

Domestic Flights: Flights from Kathmandu or Manthali to Lukla and return, as per the itinerary. Helicopter Flight: Helicopter flight from Everest Base Camp (Gorakshep) to Lukla.

Transport

All ground transportation in a comfortable private luxury vehicle as per the itinerary, including airport and hotel transfers.

Others

Permits: All necessary paperwork, including Sagarmatha National Park permit, TIMS card, Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality entry permit, and fees. Trekking Equipment: Luxury Holidays Nepalโ€™s duffel, sleeping bag, T-shirt, and trekking map (if necessary).       Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel. After check-in, you can relax and explore the vibrant streets of Thamel, known for its lively atmosphere, shops, and restaurants. In the evening, there will be a welcome briefing about the trek, where you will meet your guide and fellow trekkers. Overnight in Kathmandu.

      Start your day with an early morning flight to Lukla, the gateway to the Everest region. This scenic flight offers stunning views of the Himalayan range. Upon landing in Lukla, we begin our trek with a gentle descent toward Phakding, passing through lush forests, and traditional Sherpa villages, and crossing several suspension bridges adorned with prayer flags. The trail follows the Dudh Koshi River, providing a picturesque setting for our first day of trekking. Overnight in Phakding.

      Today, we continue our trek along the Dudh Koshi River, gradually ascending through beautiful pine forests. We cross several suspension bridges, including the famous Hillary Suspension Bridge, and pass through the villages of Monjo and Jorsale before entering Sagarmatha National Park. The trail then steeply climbs to Namche Bazaar, the bustling hub of the Khumbu region, where we will stay for acclimatization. Overnight in Namche Bazaar.

      To help with acclimatization, we spend the day exploring Namche Bazaar. This vibrant town offers a range of activities, including visiting the Sherpa Museum, the Everest Photo Gallery, and the Syangboche Airstrip for panoramic views of Everest and other peaks. You can also hike up to the Everest View Hotel for spectacular vistas or explore the local markets and cafes. Overnight in Namche Bazaar.

      Leaving Namche Bazaar, the trail offers stunning views of Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and other peaks. We trek through rhododendron forests and pass by the small villages of Phunki Tenga and Kenjoma. A final ascent brings us to the serene village of Tengboche, home to the famous Tengboche Monastery, the largest in the Khumbu region. Here, you can enjoy the peaceful surroundings and the panoramic mountain views. Overnight in Tengboche.

      Todayโ€™s trek takes us through lush forests and across the Imja Khola River. We pass the picturesque villages of Pangboche and Shomare, with stunning views of Ama Dablam along the way. As we ascend further, the landscape becomes more barren and rugged. Dingboche, our destination for the day, is a beautiful village nestled in the Imja Valley, surrounded by towering peaks.   • Day 7 Acclimatization Day In Dingboche

      To aid acclimatization, we spend an extra day in Dingboche. You can take an optional hike to Nangkartshang Peak for breathtaking views of Makalu, Lhotse, and Cho Oyu, or explore the village and its surroundings. This day helps your body adjust to the higher altitude, preparing you for the upcoming trek to higher elevations. Overnight in Dingboche.

      Our journey continues with a gradual ascent towards Lobuche. We trek through a rocky terrain, passing the memorials at Thukla Pass, which honor climbers who lost their lives on Everest. The trail offers impressive views of Pumori, Lingtren, and Khumbutse. As we approach Lobuche, the towering peaks and glaciers create a dramatic and awe-inspiring landscape. Overnight in Lobuche.

      An exciting day awaits as we trek from Lobuche to Gorakshep, the last settlement before Everest Base Camp. After a short rest, we continue our journey to Everest Base Camp, walking alongside the Khumbu Glacier. Upon reaching the base camp, you can soak in the incredible views and the sense of achievement. After spending time at the base camp, we return to Gorakshep for the night. Overnight in Gorakshep.

After descending back to Gorakshep, we board a helicopter for a scenic flight back to Lukla, offering a unique aerial perspective of the Himalayas. Overnight in Lukla.

      We take an early morning flight from Lukla to Kathmandu, where you will be transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to relax or explore the city at your own pace. In the evening, we will gather for a farewell dinner at a traditional Nepali restaurant, enjoying local cuisine and a cultural dance performance. Overnight in Kathmandu.
