  • Day 1 Phnom Penh Arrival

      Phnom Penh Arrival

      Upon arrival at Phnom Penh International Airport, after clearing all customs procedures, please proceed to the exit gate and look for your driver, who will be waiting in the lobby, holding the signboard with your name on it, if you cannot locate your driver, please go to the Airport information counter and call the emergency numbers provided by your travel advisor for assistance. Your driver will come to meet you up and transfer you to the hotel for check-in and free at leisure.

      Learn The History Of Khmer Rough - Killing Fields And S-21 Prison Visiting (B)

      Have breakfast at the hotel and get ready to explore the capital city of Cambodia. We will drive you to the "Killing Fields" of Choeng Ek (15 km south of Phnom Penh). Here you will visit the mass grave of 17000 victims of Khmer Rough executed between 1975 and 1979 and will learn the dark side of Cambodian history. Later you will visit the monument for photo shooting and Psa Thmey market.  

      In the afternoon, we will take you to Tuol Sleng Museum (S-21 prison). This former school had been used as a prison by Pol Potโ€™s security forces. Then visit the Russian Market (Toul Tumpong Market), which is one of the best places for shopping in Phnom Penh. Here you can find cheap clothes, local snacks, jewelry, paintings, woodcarvings silk, and other nice stuff you can buy as souvenirs.

      Phnom Penh is not only the capital of Cambodia but also the city where the Royal family resides. Today, you will explore the most magnificent sites of this city and feel the royal charm.

      After breakfast at the hotel, meet your guide and depart to the National Museum. In the museum, you will find over 5000 objects related to Cambodiaโ€™s history and culture on display including Angkor-era statues and lingas. Then visit the Royal Palace, where His Majesty, the King of Cambodia, and his family live. It is like a small town of royal dynasties, where you can see the masterpieces of Cambodian architecture. Continue to Silver Pagoda, which keeps a 90 kg golden Buddha statue encrusted with 2086 diamonds. 

      Finally, we will visit Wat Phnom Temple, which is one of the most important pagodas in Phnom Penh. It was constructed in 1373 on an artificial hill by the wealthy widow Daun Chi Penh.  

      Finish your day with the Sunset Cruise on the Tonle Sap and Mekong Rivers.

      Travel From Phnom Penh To Battambang - Bamboo Train Ride In Battambang (B)

      Have breakfast at the hotel and complete the check-out formalities. Then depart to Battambang by private car (290 km. 4-5 hrs drive). On the way, we will stop at Silversmith village to see the pottery manufacturer in Kompong Chhnang and visit a fish market. 

      Upon arrival in Battambang, check-in at the hotel. In the afternoon, we will take you for a walk through the town to explore its beautiful colonial architecture and visit the Psanat central market. After the market, you will enjoy riding a bamboo train platform at Oudombong Village. It will be an unforgettable experience.

  • Day 5 Visiting The Beautiful Temples Of Battambang (B)

      Visiting The Beautiful Temples Of Battambang (B)

      Have breakfast at the hotel and meet your guide. Today we will take you for a drive along the picturesque Sangker River to Wat Slaket Pagoda, the residence of the provincial Buddhist patriarch. Continue to visit Wat Ek Phnom built in the 11th century. Then visit a market where Prahoc, the Cambodian fish paste, is made. 

      In the afternoon, drive to Phnom Sampeou Mountain with Wat Sampeou on the top. It also contains many natural caves lined with Buddhist shrines and statues, it is the traditional place to come to celebrate the marriage after the ceremony day. Some of the caves also were used as โ€˜killing cavesโ€™ by the Khmer Rouge and contained the skeletal remains of its victims. When arriving at the caves we will wait for approximately 5-10 minutes, when millions of bats emerge from their cave. Then we return to Battambang.

  • Day 6 Battambang Travel To Siem Reap (B)

      Have breakfast at the hotel and complete the check-out formalities. You will be transferred to Siem Reap by private car, the journey will take about 3 hours. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel to have some rest. 

      In the afternoon, we will visit the Artisan Dโ€™Angkor, which is a sustainable project that creates job opportunities for young people in rural areas while reviving traditional Khmer craftsmanship. You can observe the wood and stone carving processes and shop for souvenirs. Then continue to Wat Thmey or Killing Field, which contains a unique glass-walled stupa containing the bones of victims of the Khmer Rouge.

  • Day 7 Banteay Srei And Angkor Wat Visit (B)

      Have breakfast at the hotel and meet your guide. Today we will take you out of town to visit the intricately carved and well-preserved temple of Banteay Srei. On the way, we will stop in Preah Dark village where will see less visited Banteay Samre Temple adorned with impressive reliefs depicting scenes of Vishnu and Krishna legends. 

      In the afternoon, you will visit the splendid Angkor Wat. It is the largest temple in the world that covers an area of 200 hectares. Spend your time exploring the pavilions with beautiful bas-reliefs and carvings dedicated to Hindu legends, and know for what it is considered as one of the 7 wonders of the world.  Later you will be transferred back to your hotel.

      Have breakfast at the hotel and get ready for your todayโ€™s sightseeing. We will continue exploring the Angkor temples by visiting Angkor Thom, the South Gate of Angkor Thom, and the Bayon Temple, which was built between the 12th and 13th centuries by King Jayavarman VII and consists of 54 towers. Then explore the Royal Enclosure, the Phimeanakas, the Elephants Terrace, and the Terrace of the Leper King. Then head to Preah Khan temple, built by King Jayavarman VII to honor his father. It is a huge, highly exportable monastic complex, that served as a Buddhist monastery and school for over 1000 monks. 

      In the afternoon, you will see the jungle-covered temple of Ta Prohm. You will witness the enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers embracing themselves in the stone foundations of the structure giving the impression of manโ€™s creation being reclaimed by the powerful forces of nature. Later we will climb to the top of Bakheng Hill to see the sunset.

      Have breakfast at the hotel and meet your guide. Today we leave the city behind and travel to the local village Chansar, where you will enjoy the ox-cart ride around the village. Then visit the local family and watch them making the brooms before enjoying the guided walk around to experience the rural way of life. You can try some local activities if you wish, such as fishing and farming. The proceeds from this tour will go directly to the community to improve the lives of the residents.

      On the way back to your hotel, we will stop at the local temple to receive a blessing from a Buddhist monk

      Have breakfast at the hotel and get ready to explore the amazing floating villages of the Tonle Sap Lake. Upon arrival, you will take a boat trip on the Tonle Sap lake. It is the largest freshwater lake in South East Asia, where you will see floating houses, schools, police stations, etc. All these houses move from place to place following water levels and currents. Then head back to your hotel and get ready for your departure. 

      Your private driver will transfer you to the airport for your flight back home.
