About experience

Day 1: Bangkok

Taste Thai cuisine through a welcome dinner (own account) after group meeting to go through your 12-day itinerary. Group meeting at 6:30pm at hotel lobby, please look for the welcome letter in the hotel lobby or ask hotel reception.

Day 2: Siem Reap

Start with a public minivan/bus trip from Bangkok to Siem Reap for about 10 hours. Exit Thailand at Aranyaprathet and cross Cambodia at Poipet, guide will assist you with border procedures. After entering Poipet, continue for around 150km to Siem Reap.

Day 3: Angkor Wat (B)

Full day tour to the Angkor complex, one of the best preserved archaeological sites in SE Asia. Visit the world-famous Angkor Wat, marvel at the Bayon temple or the Temple of Smiling Faces and be enchanted with Ta Prohmโ€™s ruins taken over by the jungle trees. 1 day Angkor Pass included (2-day pass available, pay extra to guide locally) and Guided Tour included.

Day 4: Siem Reap (B)

Free day in Siem Reap.

Day 5: Kompong Cham (B)

Travel by public bus (private for group of 6+ pax) to Kompong Cham for about 5 hours. Get a feel of the โ€œrealโ€ Cambodia by hanging out with locals or cruise the countryside along farms and villages.

Day 6: Phnom Penh

Continue to Phnom Penh by public bus, about 3 hours (private for group of 6+ pax). This city located at the convergence of Mekong River and Tonle Sap is the place to see French colonial mansions in Cambodia.

Day 7: Chambok Homestay (B, D)

Travel west by private bus (about 3 hours) to Kampong Speu and Chambok eco-village. Spend the night with a local family in a homestay, immerse yourself in rural lifestyle. Sample Khmer cuisine at dinner while watching locals perform traditional dance. Homestay facilities are basic. Multi-share. Mattresses, bedding and mosquito nets provided.

Day 8: Sihanouk Ville (B)

Head towards the coastal city of Sihanouk Ville (about 4 hours) in a private bus. Enjoy Cambodiaโ€™s premier beaches, the seascapes and take a dip in the beach if youโ€™re up for it.

Day 9: Sihanouk Ville (B)

Enjoy free time today.

Day 10: Phnom Penh (B)

Head back to Phnom Penh through a local public bus (private for 6+ pax), approx. 4 hours. You will have your free time at Phnom Penh. Get some rest and relaxation on your last day in Cambodia.

Day 11: Ho Chi Minh City (B)

Depart for Ho Chi Minh on a local bus (about 7 hours). Exit Cambodia at Bavet and enter Vietnam border at Moc Bai, with your guide to assist you with border procedures.

Day 12: Ho Chi Minh City (B)

Enjoy your morning before check out at 12 noon.
