Drive to Rusizi National Park, home to hippos, antelopes, monkeys, and numerous species of colorful birds. See where River Rusizi empties into Lake Tanganyika. Afterward route your way to Explorers’ Memorial, a massive rock in the suburbs of Bujumbura commemorating meeting between explorers John Speke and Hannington. Visit Albert’s zoo and enjoy a Tuk-Tuk tour on the shores of Lake Tanganyika. Dinner and overnight at King’s Conference Hotel. Meal(s) Included: Breakfast, Dinner

After breakfast, drive to the source of Nile and the amazing waterfalls. Continue to Gitega to visit the drum sanctuary of Gishora famous for drum making. The area has two ritual drums that have never been beaten. Ruciteme-the one for whom we clear the forest and Murimirwa- the one for whom we cultivate. Besides, they are other ordinary drums which the Batimbo (drummers) used during special occasions of the country.
