Day 1: Buenos Aires

Upon arrival in Buenos Aires you’ll be met at the airport by one of our Destination Hosts and will have a private transfer to your hotel. Our Destination Host will check with you the details of your itinerary, provide you with printed documentation, and add any extra information you might need. They will be ready to answer your questions, give you tips about places to go, restaurants to eat and anything else you might be interested in. You’ll have the rest of the day free to enjoy this vibrant city.

Day 2: Buenos Aires - City Tour & Tango Show

Stop At: Buenos Aires, Buenos Aires, Capital Federal District
In the morning, you’ll be picked up from your hotel to enjoy a City Tour (shared service). Over the course of the tour, you will have the chance to visit the historical and political center of the city: the May Square, San Telmo with its cobblestone streets, La Boca where Buenos Aires turns colorful and tango is ever present, and the chic and aristocratic Recoleta, where the big palaces remind us that Buenos Aires was once the Paris of the South.

In the evening you will be picked up from your hotel to be driven to one of Buenos Aires’ most emblematic cultural highlights: a Dinner and Tango Show offering a spectacular demonstration of the finest local dancing accompanied by delicious Argentine cuisine and all the malbec you’d like. At the end of the evening, you will be driven back to your hotel (shared service).

Day 3: Buenos Aires/ Salta

At the appropriate time, you will have a private transfer to the domestic airport to take your flight to Salta.

Welcome to Salta! Salta is the perfect base to explore the Argentine Northern territory. After check-in, you will have the rest of the day free to explore local shops and restaurants around town. This city offers outstanding museums, colonial architecture and cafés in the main plaza but, since the city stress has not arrived here yet, please bear in mind that during the siesta time most of the shops remain closed.

Day 4: Salta: Full-Day Safari to the Clouds with visit to the Salt Flats & Purmamarca

Stop At: Salta, Salta, Province of Salta, Northern Argentina
Today you’ll travel to the clouds—no exaggeration! We’ll pick you up at your hotel to start a two day trip to Purmamarca and the Great Salt Flats, a white solid ocean, 13000 feet above sea level!
On this full day trip we’ll travel along the same route of the famous Train to the Clouds, zigzagging on lonely roads between the blue sky and the high desert plains. On our way, we will visit historic ruins and small scattered villages.

Pass By: Campo Quijano, Campo Quijano, Province of Salta, Northern Argentina
Our first destination is the small town of Campo Quijano, best known as the Gateway to the Puna.


Pass By: Quebrada del Toro, Salta, Argentina
Later, we will visit the impressive Quebrada del Toro, a natural wonder where human-sized cactus stand in a backdrop of eroded peaks which emerge from the golden sand like giant fingers. Here we’ll stop for a refreshing coffee break.


Pass By: Salinas Grandes, 4600 Argentina
We’ll keep on traveling to Santa Rosa de Tastil, a pre-Incan city of the XIII century, and right after, to San Antonio de los Cobres, the HQ of the Pachamama (Mother Earth) Celebration. The “salty” cherry on top will be the surreal landscape of the Great Salt Flats. The natural light and reflections provide perfect opportunities for endless photo fun. Test your creativity! And be careful of where you put your feet: there are artificial water pools in the area.


Pass By: Purmamarca, Purmamarca, Province of Jujuy, Northern Argentina
At the end of your adventure in the Great Salt Flats we’ll take you to your hotel in Purmamarca, located at the base of Jujuy’s famed Seven Color Hill.

Day 5: Full-Day Humahuaca Gorge, Jujuy & Salta

Stop At: Purmamarca, Purmamarca, Province of Jujuy, Northern Argentina
In the morning, you will depart early in the morning for a tour along the Humahuaca Gorge, declared a UNESCO Heritage Site. You will visit places such as:

Maimará is located at the foothills of the “Paleta del Pintor” (its name comes from the colorful traits of its hills)


Pass By: Tilcara, Tilcara, Province of Jujuy, Northern Argentina
You will also visit the well known town of Tilcara and the archaeological site of “El Pucará de Tilcara”.


Pass By: Humahuaca, Humahuaca, Province of Jujuy, Northern Argentina
Other places you will visit include Huacalera, Trópico de Capricornio, Uquía (Pinturas Cuzqueñas) and the small town of Humahuaca.

Pass By: Salta, Salta, Province of Salta, Northern Argentina
After soaking up some of the best Andean views, you will return to Salta.

Day 6: Full-Day Cafayate

Stop At: Cafayate, Salta Province, Argentina
After breakfast, you will leave Salta city behind to reach the red mountains of the Conchas Gorge, where the erosion has carved interesting shapes into the rocks. Along the way, you will make a few stops to appreciate some impressive natural wonders such as the Castles, the Amphitheater (formation with excellent acoustics), the Devil’s Gorge and other beautiful places. Upon arrival in Cafayate, you will visit one of the local wineries and taste the exquisite wine products of the region. After taking some time to relax in Cafayate little square, you will head back to Salta.

Day 7: Salta / Puerto Iguazu

Day 8: Puerto Iguazu - Full-Day Iguazu National Park: Argentine Side

Stop At: Parque Nacional Iguazu, Ruta 101 Km 142, Puerto Iguazu 3370 Argentina
After breakfast, you will depart on a full-day private tour to the Argentine side of the Iguazu Falls; where you’ll be able to witness the jungle’s beauty and have intimate views of this unforgettable section of the Iguazu River.

Duration: 1 hour 20 minutes

Stop At: Garganta del Diablo, Iguazu National Park, Puerto Iguazu Argentina
Upon entering the National Park, an ecological train ride will take you to the impressive Devil’s Throat, the most important of all 275 waterfalls that comprise the Iguazu falls system.

Stop At: Iguazu National Park, Iguazu National Park, Province of Misiones, Litoral
As the tour continues, your guide will show you the best views of this world-famous nature wonder as you walk the lower and upper trails for some different perspectives. After enjoying unique views of the falls, you will return to your hotel in the late afternoon.
**OPTIONAL: we highly recommend upgrading this excursion to include a boat tour experience. The boat tour allows you to get a close-up view of the falls and get showered by its water. Day 9: Puerto Iguazu - Half-Day Iguazu National Park: Brazilian Side

Stop At: Parque Nacional do Iguacu, Rodovia Br-469 Km 1-8, Foz do Iguacu, State of Parana 85853-830 Brazil
Today, you will enjoy a half-day shared tour to the Brazilian side of the Iguazu Falls National Park, from where you will enjoy vast panoramic views that will allow you to take the waterfalls in their entirety.

Stop At: Iguazu Falls, Foz do Iguacu, State of Parana 85855-750 Brazil
Upon arrival to the National Park, and after a short briefing about the place, you’ll begin to tour the half-mile viewing walkway that provides spectacular panoramic views of the front of the falls. At the end of the circuit, you will approach Floriano Fall and get sprayed by its heavy mist. After enjoying some wonderful views, you will be taken back to your hotel. The rest of the afternoon will be free to do as you wish. IMPORTANT: It is the traveler's responsibility to make sure they meet Brazil's entry and travel requirements to cross the international border.

Day at leisure to explore the cobbled, tree-lined streets of Palermo Soho, to sit at a café or bar and enjoy a perfectly aged glass of malbec, or perhaps to sip yerba mate (local tea) out of your newly purchased mate gourd while watching people pass by in one of the parks that make up the Palermo Bosques. If you wish to book an extra tour for today, just let us know in advance and we’ll send you a quotation.
