Tips for the guide, porter and driver (Tipping is expected) Kathmandu sightseeing monument entrance fees($30 USD per person) Excess baggage more than 10kg for Lukla flight. Please be advised that if you need to return early from the trek due to reasons such as sickness, unfavorable weather conditions, personal issues, itinerary modifications, or any other unforeseen circumstances, the following conditions apply: - Any payments made for flights, hotel accommodations, mountain room bookings, meals, and related expenses are nonrefundable. - You will be required to cover the costs of hotel stays, meals, and other expenses in Kathmandu independently. Additionally, please note that during the months of March to May and September to November, all flights will depart from Ramechhap. It will be necessary for you to make a 4-5 hour drive from Kathmandu to Ramechhap in order to catch your flight. Kindly consider these terms and arrangements carefully before commencing your trek.       From Tenzing Hillary Airport at Lukla we follow the trail to Phakding Village. First we come to Chaurikharka from where we head down to the Dudh Koshi (river) and on to Ghat (2,530m). The next stop is Phakding Village where we spend time acclimatizing. It is highly recommended that to better acclimatize you stay active, so we will stroll around the village and visit the Rimishung Monastery.

      This morning we follow the Dudhkoshi River stopping for lunch at Jorsale and then continue on to Namche Bazaar โ€“ also referred to as the Sherpa capital of this region.

      It is essential to acclimatize before heading to higher altitudes. Health professionals highly recommend you stay active and keep on the move during this period. We will take a short trek to Thame or alternatively visit Khunde. We can also explore Namche Bazaar, the centre of the Everest Khumbu region. On a Friday evening or on Saturday you will have a chance to see the regular weekly market. Your guide will also take you higher up the mountain-side to the Tourist Visitor Centre close to the headquarters of the Sagarmatha National Park. It is a fascinating place that has on display many pieces of equipment and relics from the early explorers. You can also learn more about the Sherpa people and the flora and fauna to be found in the region. 

  • Day 4 Day 4: Trek From Namche Bazaar To Tengboche (3864M) 5-6 Hours.

      We start our trek today along the Dudhkoshi Koshi River until we come to Phunki Thanga. We then head through a rhododendron forest until we arrive at Tengboche.

  • Day 5 Day 5: Trek From Tyangboche To Dingboche (4360M) 4-5 Hours.

      This morning we explore the monastery before heading out on the trail along the Dudh Koshi River Bridge and then cross the Imja River until we come to Pangboche. We then trek through birch, conifer and rhododendron trees. On the trail we can see Mt. Tawache, Mt. Ama Dablam and Mt. Nuptse before arriving at Dingboche.


  • Day 6 Day 6: Rest Day At Dingboche For Acclimatization.

      We will spend another day acclimatizing at Dingboche and climb up to Nagarjuna that offers amazing views of Mt. Makalu (8463m), Thamserku and Mt. Lhotse.


  • Day 7 Day 7: Trek From Dingboche To Lobuche (4930M) 5-6 Hours.

      This morning we head down to Pheriche from where we can see Tawache Peak (6,542m) and Cholatse (6,440m).

  • Day 8 Day 8: Trek From Lobuche To Everest Base Camp (5357) And Back To Gorakshep 6-7 Hours.

      This morning we trek through the rough moraine along an undulating trail until we come to Gorak Shep. We then trek to the Khumbu Glacier and head for Everest Base Camp where we can spend time exploring before heading back to Gorak Shep for the night.

  • Day 9 Day 9: Hike Up To Kalapathar (5550M) And Trek To Pheriche (34240M) 5-6 Hours.

      We are up and on the trail before daylight and trek to Kalapathar (5550m), a photographerโ€™s dream come true experience as the sun reflects off the snow covered peaks of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse and other peaks. We then head down to Dingboche, via Lobuche, before arriving at Pheriche. We will stay here the night at a teahouse or lodge.

      The descent is much faster and less strenuous as we head to Debouche and Tengboche before coming to Phunke Tenga. We continue on to the Dudh Koshi River and cross the suspension bridge before coming to Namche Bazaar. From Namche Bazaar we can see the eye-catching peaks of Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Tawache and Lhotse.

  • Day 11 Day 11: Trek From Namche Bazaar To Lukla (2810M) 6-7 Hours.

      Today is our final day of the trek as we follow the Dudh Kosi River to Lukla. Tonight we will be in high spirits as we celebrate the completion of our trek to Everest Base Camp.

      This morning we head back to Kathmandu on a 35 minute flight. Tonight we will enjoy a farewell dinner at a Nepali restaurant where you can say goodbye to your guide and fellow trekkers.
