      Day 1: Bucharest – Sibiu

In the morning we leave Bucharest and head to Sibiu. On the way we will stop at Cozia Monastery built in 1386 by the grand father of Vlad the Impaler. When we arrive in Sibiu, however, we will visit the historical center very well, with its towers, its museums, its places of worship. It has been revived in the Middle Ages because Sibiu acted as the European Capital of Culture in 2007, and it played a very important economic and confessional role in the 15th and 16th centuries, and then reached its highest development during the seventeenth century, when the governor of Transylvania decided to settle permanently in this beautiful city. Overnight in a 3* hotel in Sibiu.

  • Day 2 Day 2: Sibiu – Castle Of Corvini – Alba Iulia – Sibiu
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

Day 2: Sibiu – Castle Of Corvini – Alba Iulia – Sibiu

After breakfast we leave Sibiu to head to another part of Trasylvania so we can visit the extraordinary Corvini Castle, an imposing Gothic building where Vlad Dracula has spent some particularly difficult moments. We will therefore know the connection between the Corvino family and the Impaler. Next, visit Alba Iulia, a city that will astonish us for its citadel, its fortification walls, its welcoming population. We will then return to Sibiu where we will stay in the same 3*  hotel in Sibiu.

  • Day 3 Day 3: Sibiu – Sighisoara – Brasov
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Day 3: Sibiu – Sighisoara – Brasov

We will leave Sibiu and head to discover the beauties of another city, Sighisoara, whose old town is a UNESCO heritage, a place which tourists love because it is one of the few fortified cities founded in the 12th century still inhabited. We will see its painted houses with bright colors, the famous Clock Tower, its worship places, both Catholic and Evangelical, and the famed school ladder. We will then find out how it is possible to have lunch at Vlad Dracula’s house. This mysterious historical character, in fact, was born right in the heart of Transylvania and spent here, in Sighisoara, the very first years of his life. Then there is another stop to visit Rupea’s fortress externally. We will arrive in Brasov where we’ll visit the old town with its imposing black church, dating back to the end of the 14th century. Overnight in a 3* hotel in Brasov or Poiana Brasov.
