Itinerary of your trip 3 Days Tour In Transylvania: Peles& Dracula’S Castle, Sighis

  • Day 1 Day 1: Bucharest-Sinaia-Brasov
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Day 1: Bucharest-Sinaia-Brasov

Our trip starts in Bucharest, and in about 2 hours you will be in Sinaia City, where you will visit the first castle: Peles Castle. Peles Castle is a masterpiece of German new-renaissance architecture, considered by many one of the most stunning castles in Europe. To get to the next objective, Bran Castle, we will go through the Carpathian Mountains. Surrounded by an aura of mystery and legend and perched high atop a 200-foot-high rock, Bran Castle owes its fame to its imposing towers and turrets, as well as to the myth created around Bram Stocker’s Dracula. Brasov is home to one of the narrowest streets in Europe: Rope Street (Strada Sforii). Take a peek inside the Black Church (Biserica Neagra), the largest Gothic church in Romania. Though its name, Biserica Neagră (the Black Church), may seem dark and foreboding, the building is nothing to fear. You will be overnight in Brasov.

  • Day 2 Day 2: Brasov-Sighisoara-Brasov
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Day 2: Brasov-Sighisoara-Brasov

After breakfast, we will go to visit Hartman Fortified Church, a UNESCO Heritage Site that is very well preserved, as you will get to see. We will continue our journey to Sighisoara Medieval City. Sighisoara still stands as one of the most beautiful and best-preserved medieval towns in Europe. Designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, this perfectly intact 16th-century gem with nine towers, cobbled streets, burgher houses, and ornate churches rivals the historic streets of Old Prague or Vienna for atmospheric magic. The Clock Tower, the house where Vlad Dracula (Vlad the Impaler) was born, the Church of the Hill with its 500-year-old frescoes, and the Church of the Dominican Monastery, known for its Transylvanian Renaissance-carved altarpiece, baroque pulpit, and Oriental carpets, are just a few things really worth visiting in Sighisoara. In the evening, we’ll be back in Brasov, where you will stay overnight.

  • Day 3 Day 3: Brasov-Unirea Salt Mine-Bucharest
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Day 3: Brasov-Unirea Salt Mine-Bucharest

We will leave in the morning, and we will head towards Unirea Salt Mine. Known as the biggest salt mine in Europe, Slanic Prahova stands today as one of the most important watering and climatic resorts in Romania. Unique in the country, but also in Europe, the salt mine is formed out of 14 rooms, trapezium shaped. The ventilation is naturally made, and the 12 degree C temperature is constant throughout the whole year. The humidity of the air is circa 50%, and the air composition in the mine is richer in sodium ions that have spectacular ameliorative and prophylactic effects, as far as breathing deficiencies and diseases are concerned. Also, in the salt mine, there have been arranged playing grounds, a sports ground, a room with tables for billiards, and a bar room. Our journey ends in Bucharest.
