Discover Matera And Taste Of Salento Tour

Arrival at the Airport (transfer) we will pick up  you and take you to the farmhouse .Check in and show around the property. After a small break we make a tour of the farmhouse and an explanation of how do the oil (at that time may not see as is hara because the season is from October to January) visit to the mill where Emilio explain all the procedure (we use the traditional procedure) followed by an Olive Oil tasting  Visit to a winery (before returning to the farmhouse) with a tasting of local wines of this area. Dinner at the farmhouse with typical food from Salento ,such as  biological vegetables directly collected from the farmhouse. (also with the help of customers)

Breakfast. Excursion to Lecce (called the Florence of the South) with a professional guide where you will make a walking tour of the city, one of the capital of the Baroque in Italy. Free time for shopping. Typical food leccese (Lecce) at a restaurant in the old town (closed menu) Visit to the pasta factory authentic (Cavalieri) in Maglie with explanation of its origins and possibility to buy. Return to the farmhouse . Dinner based on fish dishes typically cooked in a traditional way.

Breakfast. Excursion along the coast and visit of Otranto (the Castle Cathedral and the old quarter with a professional english speaking guide Food-based sea urchins and fish (freshly fish) in Porto Badisco or meal in Otranto. (depends on the season is going to be a restaurant or another) Return to the farmhouse Some free time. Cooking classes at the farmhouse, explication and preparation of  typical "home made pasta salentina" with the chef Emilio.  Dinner with handmade pasta and seafood.
