Day 1: Meet Your Group In Bozeman, West Yellowstone Ropes Course And Explore Yellowstone National Park

After meeting your fellow travellers and guides in Bozeman, our adventure will begin with a thrilling zipline tour at the West Yellowstone Ropes Course. Over the next couple of hours, you'll have the chance to play on 3,000 feet of ziplines with five stories of complex and challenging acrobatic high ropes course elements. Take your time or power through the course with an easy self-belay harness system that gives you the freedom to navigate the course at your own pace while always being securely clipped to a static webbing/harness system. After a picnic lunch, weโ€™ll continue our exploration of this area including walks around Geyser Hill before heading to Old Faithful Snow Lodge, our home for the night, and weโ€™ll have a chance to watch Old Faithful erupt under the stars. This morning weโ€™ll check out the Yellowstone Riverโ€™s Upper Falls where the water flows powerfully over the brink. From there we can appreciate the waterfallโ€™s power and spend time here. Weโ€™ll set off on a hike on the Wapiti Trail - this hike will bring us to the rim of the 10,000-year-old, 1,000-foot deep Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone River. As we carefully make our way along the canyon wall, at every bend the pinks, yellows, reds, and oranges of the rock appear all the more bright as you walk to the grand finale of Artist Point, the most spectacular viewpoint of the Lower Falls of the Yellowstone River. Weโ€™ll enjoy lunch here before making our way down Uncle Tomโ€™s trail. Our accommodation tonight was named after the steaming limestone terraces just above the main building.
