Day 1: Addis Abeba

Stop At: Ethio USA Tours, Addis Ababa Ethiopia
Arrive Upon arrival you will be welcomed by your guide and drive about 15 minutes to your hotel.

Stop At: Addis Ababa, Addis Ababa
. Have sightseeing in Addis which includes visiting the National Archeological Museum of Addis Ababa; where the fossil remains of the oldest hominid – Lucy (3.25 mil years old) is sheltered at, Merkato – the largest open-air market in Africa, and finally drive to Mt. Entoto (3,200 meters) to have a panoramic view of Addis. Overnight: hotel

Day 2: Day 02: Fly from Addis Ababa – Gondar

Stop At: Gonder, Gonder, Amhara Region
After arrival & check in to your hotel, Visit the 17th-century castles’ the compound, registered by UNESCO as a world heritage for the presence of those castles in such immense number and their architectural significance; Debre-Berhan Selesie Church highly decorated with mural paintings of portraits of angles and another biblical history Overnight: Goha hotel (3* hotel) (B, L, D)

Day 3: Drive to Semien Mountain National park

Stop At: Debark, Debark, Amhara Region
After early breakfast drive to Simen Mountains constitute one of the massifs of Ethiopia that include several peaks above 4000 meters high in altitude. Ras Dashen Mountain the highest in Ethiopia and the 4th highest in Africa is located here in this massif.

Day 4: Fly Gonder- Lalibela.

Stop At: Lalibela, Lalibela, Amhara Region

Day 5: Fly from Lalibela to Addis Ababa and drive to Awash N/P

Stop At: Awash National Park, Awash National Park, Afar Region
Fly to Addis Ababa and after arrival, you will be meet by your drivers to drive you to Awash National park, 220km to the east. Stop at Lake Beseka where birds like; Storks, Egrets, Vultures, Towny eagles, etc can be seen. We will take lunch at the awash town. O/n Genet Hotel, Meal All

Day 6: Birding at Awash Park Full day birding

Full day birding in the park including a trip to the Filweha (hot spring). We will see birds like Abyssinian roller, Abyssinian ground hornbill, Wire-tailed swallow, Buff crested Bustard, etc

Day 8: Excursion to Lake Abijata - Shalla

Stop At: Langano, Langano, Oromiya Region
We drive to Abijata-Shalla lakes National park; we first go to lake Shalla the deepest of all the Ethiopian Rift valley lakes. This lake is the breeding ground of birds since it has islands.

Day 9: Drive to Awassa
