      Our representative will meet you at Paro International Airport and transport you to your Thimphu accommodation along a scenic route flanked by picturesque mountains. The 13th-century iron-mesh suspension bridge at Tamchhu Lhakhang was constructed by the Tibetan saint Thangtong Gyalpo, who was also an architect and blacksmith, so be sure to stop by on your way. Get dropped off to your hotel, Overnight in Thimphu.

  • Day 2 Sightseeing In Thimphu

      Sightseeing In Thimphu

      After you have your breakfast, head out to Kuensel Phodrang Nature Park to see Buddha Point, a hilltop overlooking Thimphu Valley. As part of the festivities honoring the 60th birthday of Bhutanโ€™s fourth king, you will continue on to Changgangkha, where you may enjoy a beautiful stroll through blue pine trees. Next, pay a visit to Motithang Takin Preserve to see the national animal of Bhutan, the Takin. After that, you should make your way to the Memorial Chorten, a Buddhist monastery constructed in 1974 in the manner of Tibet to honor the third monarch. Afterwards, take some time to wander the hallowed halls of Tashichho Dzong, the summer palace of Bhutanese monks and the countryโ€™s administrative center.

Discover the Paro Dzong, an important cultural monument and a stunning monastery and castle dating back to the 17th century. Discover the fascinating history and cultural legacy of Bhutan.

      In Paro. Hike To Taktsang Monastery

      Standing atop a cliff that is three thousand meters high, the trek to Taktsang Monastery is an incredible sight. This famous landmark represents the spiritual history of Bhutan; it was built in 1694 and rebuilt after a fire in 1998. The hike provides breathtaking vistas of the Himalayas, a path through dense woodland, and an opportunity for deep spiritual reflection. Pilgrims, visitors, and ecotourists all must go to the location because it is the cradle of Buddhism in Bhutan.
