Day 1: Visiting to Sigiriya Rock Fortress/Minneriya Elephant Safari

You can see a nice view from the top of the rock and also as this is one of the top archaeological sites in Sri Lanka you could experience what kind of technology that Sri Lanka had in 4th century particularly taking water from down to the top of the rock. Day 2: Visiting Pidurangala Rock/Golden Temple of Dambulla

Pidurangala is a massive rock formation located a few kilometers north of Sigiriya in Sri Lanka. It has an interesting history closely related to that of the Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Being less grand and far more difficult to climb it is often overlooked by tourists. Like Sigiriya, Pidurangala was formed by volcanic activity. Whilst Pidurangala appears larger than Sigiriya; its upper surface is steeply sloped and is of solid rock. For this reason, it was not suitable for large-scale building activity. The rocky outcrops that surround the central rock give one an indication of what the area around Sigiriya may have looked like prior to its clearing and preparation as a royal citadel.

Day 5: Safari day at Yala/Tissamaharamaya

Yala National Park is a huge area of forest, grassland and lagoons bordering the Indian Ocean, in southeast Sri Lanka. Itโ€™s home to wildlife such as leopards, elephants and crocodiles, as well as hundreds of bird species. Inland, Sithulpawwa is an ancient Buddhist monastery. Nearby caves contain centuries-old rock paintings. Southwest, Magul Maha Viharaya also has ancient Buddhist ruins. Both are pilgrimage sites.

Day 6: Visiting Galle Fort, Jungle Beach
