Welcome to take our China private tour with daily departure, which can be tailored to meet your individual interests. You will enjoy a more personalized experience as the trip is only for your private party, with no other people.

As soon as your flight lands in Beijing today, your guide is already at the airport waiting for you. He or she will hold a welcome board with your name on it. Together with the driver, they will then transfer you to the hotel. The rest of day will be on your own arrangement.
Day 2 Beijing

The morning excursions will be the famous Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. As a palace for 24 emperors during the Ming and Qing dynasties, it has a mysterious aura. An a la carte welcome lunch at a nicely decorated and noted local restaurant will follow allowing you to taste diversified Chinese food.

In the afternoon, further explore the royal culture at the Yonghe Temple and the Temple of Heaven.

Day 3 Beijing

Today’s highlight is to visit Mutianyu Great Wall. The round-trip cable car is included. The restaurants nearby the site are of low standard, so we do not arrange the lunch today. It may be the best that you have a big breakfast at the hotel and have some fast food for lunch by yourself. Your guide will show you some restaurants.

Later, on the way back to downtown, we will drive by the Bird’s Nest (Olympic National Stadium). You will see its appearance from a distance. Then, you will experience a rickshaw ride in the Hutong tour, where you can see narrow lanes, traditional houses and local people’s life.

Day 4 Beijing - Xi’An

Visit the Summer Palace. Then, have lunch on your own and the guide will be glad to assist. In the afternoon, our guide will see you off and help you board on a high-speed train to Xi’an. The high-speed trains are clean, comfortable and can take you to Xi’an in about 4.5 hours. When you arrive, your Xi’an guide and driver will transfer you to the hotel and help you check in.

Day 5 Xi’An

We will visit the amazing Terracotta Army this morning to appreciate the undeniable excellent ancient craft works of the Qin dynasty. Lunch is on your own, but your guide will give you suggestions on good local foods near the site.

In the afternoon, we drive back to downtown Xi’an to visit the Shaanxi Provincial History Museum, one of the four best and largest museums in China. After that, continue the visit to the Small Wild Goose Pagoda, a famous local Buddhist site dating back to the Tang Dynasty (618 - 907).

Day 6 Xi’An - Chengdu

This morning, ascend the ancient City Wall and have a panoramic view of the city while strolling on it. The brick road on top of the wall is broad and you can rent and ride bicycles for fun if you like. Then, visit the Great Mosque in the city center’s Muslim Quarters and enjoy some time to explore the famous Muslim bazaar, where you can have a simple lunch on your own.

This afternoon, you will take a high-speed train to Chengdu, which takes around 4 hours. Our Chengdu guide and driver will wait for you at the exit of the railway station and help you settle down in a decent hotel.

Day 7 Chengdu

Today we will have a pleasant date with China’s national treasure giant pandas at the Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. The pandas are very active in the morning. You will sure be entertained when you see the cute and chubby panda bears eating bamboo shoots or playing with each other.

Then, continue to the Broad and Narrow Alleys where old houses and alleys of the Qing Dynasty have been turned to tea houses, restaurants, shops and bars. Lunch is arranged on your own. You might try some local snacks in the alley or choose a courtyard restaurant to enjoy your lunch. In the afternoon, visit Jinsha Site Museum, a significant relic of the ancient Shu civilization discovered in 2001. The Gold Sun God Bird unearthed from the site has been selected as the logo of China Cultural Heritages. The last stop today is People’s Park, the most popular city park where Chengdu people drink tea leisurely. Taking a leisurely stroll at the park, you can not only experience local tea culture deeply, but also witness Chinese typical “dating culture” at the dating corner.

Day 8 Chengdu - Chongqing

Today your guide will drop you off at the railway station and help you board a bullet train to Chongqing. It takes 1-1.5 hours. Upon your arrival, your guide in Chongqing will meet you at the station and take you to visit the very city center, Jiefangbei CBD and Ciqikou Ancient Town. In the late afternoon, you will be transferred to board a 5-star Yangtze cruise ship, which sets sail at 21:30.

Day 9 Yangtze River Cruise

The cruise guide will introduce the cruise itinerary in both Chinese and English this morning or the night before. Every day, you will have a detailed time schedule for each day’s activity arrangements. In the morning, you will be arranged to visit the Shuangguishan National Forest Park. Tonight, the captain will hold a welcome party and the staff will give fantastic performances.

Day 10 Yangtze River Cruise

In the morning, the ship will reach Qutang Gorge and Wu Gorge. The cruise guide on-board is expected to make a formal presentation. Get your camera ready! After lunch, we will disembark to experience an interesting excursion to the Shennv Stream by boat which will add much joy to the marvelous day. It lasts 3 to 4 hours. Back to the ship and cruise down the western section of Xiling Gorge.

Day 11 Yichang - Shanghai

The Three Gorges Dam, the world’s largest hydro-electric project is your last excursion stop on Yangtze. Pack your belongings for disembarking before the visit. Afterwards, the cruise ship company will drive you to the Three Gorges Tourist Center and our local guide will meet you there. Then you will be taking a bullet train to your last scheduled destination, Shanghai. It is a 7.5 hours trip. On arriving at Shanghai railway station, you will be met by the guide and transferred to the hotel.

Day 12 Shanghai

After breakfast, you will start your trip from Shanghai Museum, one of the top four museums in China. Then head to the ancient Yu Garden, where you can see traditional Chinese architecture, beautiful artificial hills and ponds. We will leave you some free time there to explore the surrounding Yu Bazaar. Around noon, you will enjoy an a la carte farewell lunch at a popular local restaurant.

Afterwards, you will be transferred to the city’s landmark site, the Bund, and take a one-hour cruise tour along the Huangpu River - the mother river of Shanghai. As the symbol and a microcosm of the city, the river has witnessed the glory, humiliation, despair and prosperity of Shanghai. Then your guide will lead you to Tianzifang, a cultural block combining artistic studios, exotic restaurants and bars.
