Welcome to take our China private tour with daily departure, which can be tailored to meet your individual interests. You will enjoy a more personalized experience as the trip is only for your private party, with no other people.

Your guide will greet you warmly outside customs of the airport after you retrieve your luggage and clear Customs, and then transfer you to the hotel in a comfortable and air-conditioned vehicle. The remaining time of the day is free for your individual activities.
Day 2 Beijing

We start the exciting day with Tiananmen Square, which is located in the very center of the city. After admiring the remarkable buildings all around, we head north to the Forbidden City. Serving as the royal palace during the Ming and Qing dynasties (1368-1911), it well presents the essence of ancient Chinese imperial court buildings. You will have an a la carte lunch at a nice local restaurant to taste the diversified Chinese food.

In the afternoon, we continue on to visit Yonghe Temple, also known as the Lama Temple. It is the most revered Tibetan Buddhist temple outside Tibet. Then goes to the Temple of Heaven, which used to be the altar for emperors to offer sacrifice to the God of Heaven.

Day 3 Beijing

Today’s highlight is to visit Mutianyu Great Wall. The round-trip cable car is included. The restaurants nearby the site are of low standard, so we do not arrange the lunch today. It may be the best that you have a big breakfast at the hotel and have some fast food for lunch by yourself. Our guide will show you some restaurants.

On the way back to downtown Beijing, you will see the full view of the Bird’s Nest (the Olympic National Stadium), which was the major venue for the 2008 Olympic Games. Then you will have a Hutong tour to experience the original Beijing culture by taking a special rickshaw ride through the traditional alleyways and to know about old local customs.

Day 4 Beijing To Xi’An By High Speed Train

Beijing To Xi’An By High Speed Train

This morning, we visit the Summer Palace. In this 800-year-old but well-preserved imperial garden, you will be fascinated by the examples of the ancient art, graceful landscapes and magnificent constructions.

In the afternoon, we will drive you to the railway station for your onward high speed train to Xi’an. The travel time of the high speed trains varies from 4.5 to 5.5 hours. Upon your arrival, our local guide will meet you and then transfer you to the hotel reserved ahead of time.

Day 5 Xian

In the morning, we will drive out of Xian city to show you the awe inspiring Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum. The thousands of life-sized pottery soldiers, horses, as well as bronze chariots and weapons that have been unearthed here will definitely impress you. Then visit the discoverer’s home. Next, go to a local workshop to make a terracotta soldier or a general with the guidance of an artisan.

After that, we will drive you back to downtown Xi’an. You will visit visit the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda and the Great Tang All Day Mall.

Day 6 Xian

After breakfast, you will be escorted to admire the City Wall Park, where many locals are doing morning exercises like sword dancing, practising Tai Chi, playing musical instruments, and playing table tennis. Then we ascend the well-maintained City Wall. You can rent a bicycle on the spot to get great views of the ancient city. Next, you will continue to visit the Great Mosque. Take a stroll on the lively Muslim street to savor for some local snacks. Today’s last stop will be Shaanxi History Museum, which offers an overview of the thousands of years of Chinese history and the splendid ancient cultures through 1,717,950 pieces of relics.

Day 7 Xian - Chongqing

After having breakfast in the hotel, pack your luggage and the guide will send you to the airport. Fly to Chongqing. Upon landing, our local guide will wait for you right outside the Arrival Hall. After picking you up, we will arrange for you a Chongqing city tour covering Chonqging Zoo and Ciqikou Village.

After that, you are helped to get on board the luxurious Yangtze River cruise ship. Your memorable cruise experience begins at 21:30 as the ship sets sail.

Day 8 Yangtze River Cruise

Today, it is advised to get up early to join in the Tai Chi master to do some morning exercise. After breakfast, disembark and follow the cruise guide to visit the Shuangguishan National Forest Park instead, which is a great place to enjoy a leisurely walk and melt into nature. In addition to the scheduled onshore excursions, you are free to enjoy yourself on the cruise ship, relax completely on the sundeck or join various cultural programs onboard.

This evening, the Captain’s Welcome Party will be held, and it will be a great fun for guests to join in.

Day 9 Yangtze River Cruise

Yangtze River Cruise

The most essential part of your ship ride comes today. The ship will first sail through the short but grandiose Qutang Gorge and then the most brilliant Wu Gorge. In Wu Gorge, you will disembark at Wushan Daning River for an excursion to Shennong Stream. You will disembark and take an interesting adventure by motorized ferry along Shennong Stream or Shennv Stream. Sitting on the ferry, you will travel along the zigzagging watercourses and enjoy the grotesque rocks and picturesque scenery along the banks, accompanied by the folk songs from the trackers. It will last about 3 to 4 hours. Get back to the ship and the cruise continues sailing into the western section of Xiling Gorge. Historically known for its tortuous channel, dense reefs and shoaly waters, Xiling Gorge is the longest and most dangerous gorge of the Yangtze River.

Day 10 Yichang - Shanghai

In the morning, you will check out and disembark for an excursion to the Three Gorges Dam, the largest hydro-electric power station in the world. Then the cruise ship company will transport you to the Three Gorges Tourist Center in Yichang city, where your local guide will come to meet you and escort you to the railway station to catch a bullet train to Shanghai with a duration of about 7.5 hours. Your local guide in Shanghai will greet you at the railway station and accompany you to the hotel.

Today, you will first visit Shanghai Museum, one of the most renowned museums. It is a large treasure house of ancient Chinese art with a collection of 120,000 antiques which especially features bronze, pottery, calligraphy and panting articles. Then go to visit the Yuyuan Garden, a classical garden having a history of about 400 years. It is a quiet and elegant garden with the southern architectural features of the Ming and Qing dynasties. An a la carte farewell lunch is served at a nice local restaurant.

In the afternoon, we will have a relax walking along the Bund, where you will also have a short cruise tour along the Huangpu River. Afterwards, you will visit the Tianzifang Art Street.
