  • Day 1 Beijing Arrival

      Upon your arrival at Beijing airport, our guide will be waiting for you outside the customs of Beijing Airport, and then the driver will transfer you to the hotel. Relax during the remainder of the day.

  • Day 2 Beijing Forbidden City

      Beijing Forbidden City

      Visit the world famous Tian’anmen Square and the Forbidden City this morning. To avoid the cheap tourist restaurant as the most are doing now, we specially serve you a welcome a la carte lunch (valued at CNY150.00 per person and included in our price) at a very decent restaurant, where you can have a taste of authentic Chinese food and the most famous Peking Roast Duck. In the afternoon, visit the Yonghe Palace and Temple of Heaven. Tonight, we will arrange a living Beijing Opera Show in Liyuan Theatre and we will leave enough time for you to see how actors put on makeup on their face. (B+L)

  • Day 3 Mutianyu Great Wall

      Mutianyu Great Wall

      Today’s highlight is to visit Mutianyu Great Wall. The round-trip cable car is included. We will specially provide red wine for a group-toasting on the Great Wall. The restaurants nearby the site are of low standard, so we do not arrange the lunch today. It may be the best that you have a big breakfast at the hotel and have some fast food for lunch by yourself. Our guide will show you some restaurants. Drive back to down and have a photo stop at the Olympic National Stadium (Bird’s Nest), you will see its splendid appearance at a distance. Afterwards, you will take a rickshaw tour to explore the original Hutong alleys and have a chance to visit a local family. (B)

      In the morning, visit the Panda House in Beijing Zoo and the Summer Palace. After that, take a flight to Xi’an and check in at the hotel. (B+L)

  • Day 5 Terracotta Army

      Terracotta Army

      Today’s highlight is to visit the Terracotta Army. After that, take a family visit to home of the first discoverer of the Terracotta Army. And then make a mini clay warrior by yourself in a traditional cave dwelling with the help of a local artisan. In the afternoon, visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. A splendid evening is in store when you will be entertained by the Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show when partaking of the famous Dumpling Dinner. (B+D)

      Friendly Tips: Since the theater is usually not open in Jan, Feb, Mar and Dec, we will not arrange the show and dumpling dinner for tours starting during the periods. Clients will enjoy free time to relax.

  • Day 6 Xi’An City Tour

      Xi’An City Tour

      The day begins with a leisure visit to the City Wall Park, where you can observe the day-to-day life of the locals and learn to practice Tai Chi with the master. Then continue to visit the ancient City Wall for an exciting experience. Then explore the lively Muslim Quarter and try the local food and the road extends to the Great Mosque. After visiting the Great Mosque, we will transfer you to visit the Provincial History Museum and enjoy some free time at Tang Dynasty Ever-bright City. We will drive you back to hotel, or, you can continue your walking tour and get back to hotel by yourself. (B+L)

  • Day 7 Train To Chengdu (Second Class High-Speed Train: 4 Hours)

      Train To Chengdu (Second Class High-Speed Train: 4 Hours)

      We will transfer you to Xi’an North Railway Station for a morning high speed train to Chengdu. The train journey takes around 4 hours. Our guide will meet you at Chengdu East Railway Station upon arrival and help you check in at the hotel. Free in the afternoon. (B)

  • Day 8 Giant Panda Base

      Giant Panda Base

      An exciting day comes as you visit Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. You will have enough time there to observe the cute creatures. Then explore the Broad and Narrow Alleys, where you may have your own lunch to taste the popular Sichuan food. Our guide will offer you suggestions. In the afternoon, visit Jinsha Site Museum. After that our guide will escort you to the most popular Renmin Park to experience the casual life of the local people. Have a pot of tea and live like a local. (B)

      Attention: If your travel in Chengdu happens to meet Mondays, on which Jinsha Museum is closed, we will arrange the Thatched Cottage of Du Fu, a traditional Chinese park and museum in honour of the famous ancient poet Du Fu during the Tang dynasty.

      Take a flight to Shanghai. Our guide will pick you up and transfer you to the hotel. The rest time of the day is free for you to explore the city. (B)

      Shanghai City Tour

      This morning, visit Shanghai Museum, Yuyuan Garden and explore its nearby traditional bazaar. A farewell a la carte lunch (valued at CNY150.00 per person and included in our price) will be served at an elegant restaurant. After that, you will wander in the prosperous Bund area and then take a one-hour cruise tour along the Huangpu River. Today’s last stop is Tianzifang in the Former French concession, where modern art meets the old Shikumen houses and narrow alleyways. (B+L)

  • Day 11 Shanghai Departure

      Today you will travel to the airport for your departing flight by yourself. Due to different flight schedules, the hotel-airport transfer service is not included. But we are glad to assist you if you need. We wish you a nice journey home and memories to last a lifetime. (B)
