First we have a stopover at the Tiananmen Square, the city's central square. Then walk northward to reach the Forbidden City, which is the star of today's show. It had seen 24 Emperors come and go in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. An a la carte welcome lunch will be served at a nice local restaurant. Your guide will be glad to recommend you some local specialties and help you with the ordering. In the afternoon, we will visit Hutong by rickshaw. Along the way, we will pass by the Shicha Lake, Yindingqiao, Yandai Xie Street, Drum Tower and Bell Tower. Today's highlight is to visit Mutianyu Great Wall. The scenic area is equipped with cable car, toboggan, and chairlift for the needs of your family members with different physical conditions. For the seniors, the cable car is better. For adults and brave kids, thrilling toboggan will leave a long-lasting memory. In the afternoon, your guide will escort you to tour the Summer Palace, a wonderful imperial garden of the Qing Dynasty with delicate laid-out lake, pavilions, corridors, and palaces, etc. After the sightseeing, send you back to the hotel.
