Welcome to take our China private tour with daily departure, which can be tailored to meet your individual interests. You will have a more personalized experience as the trip is only for your private party, with no other people.

Your guide is at the Arrival Hall of the airport and helps you transfer to the hotel, where you can either relax or start your city exploration on your own.
Day 2 Beijing

First, we have a stopover at Tiananmen Square, the city’s central square. Then walk north to reach the Forbidden City, which is the centerpiece of today’s show. It had seen 24 Emperors come and go in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. An a la carte welcome lunch will be served at a nice local restaurant. Your guide will be happy to recommend local specialties and assist you with ordering.

In the afternoon, we will visit the Temple of Heaven. Here, you can not only learn about the ancient Chinese royal sacrificial culture, but also see many local people engaging in activities such as playing chess, Taiji, dancing and so on. Next, take a stroll through the Hutongs area. Have a panoramic view of the area on the Drum Tower. Also, we will go to visit a local family to learn the traditional Chinese folk art, calligraphy, facial painting (an art derived from Peking Opera), and paper cutting.

Day 3 Beijing

In the morning, we will drive for about 1.5 hours to the Mutianyu Great Wall, which is the longest and one of the best-preserved sections of the Great Wall of China. You will take a chair lift up to the fortification and a toboggan down. As the toboggan is not covered and the sliding is fast, if your kids are too small, we can arrange a round-trip cable car instead.

In the afternoon, your guide will take you on a tour of the Summer Palace, a magnificent imperial garden of the Qing Dynasty with delicate landscaped lakes, pavilions, corridors, and palaces, etc. After sightseeing, return to the hotel.

After having breakfast, we will visit China Science and Technology Museum, the first national-level museum of its kind in China.

In the afternoon, you will be sent to the railway station for a high- speed train to Xi’an. Upon arrival, your local guide will pick you up and escort you to the hotel.

In the morning, we will drive to visit the Terracotta Army, where the tomb guards were made over 2,200 years ago by the first Emperor Qin Shi Huang. At this museum, you will see the sophisticated craftsmen’s skills from ancient times and learn about the Qin Dynasty and its impact on generations. After the visit, you will have the opportunity to learn how to make terracotta figures in a workshop.

In the afternoon, we will drive back to the city to visit the renowned Shaanxi History Museum, considered "the treasure house of Chinese civilization". Next, let’s walk past the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda to admire its stately appearance from outside, and then explore the Grand Tang Dynasty All Day Mall, a pedestrian street theming around Tang-era cultural prosperity. Later, transfer back to the hotel.

Day 7 Xi’An To Chengdu By High Speed Train

We start the morning at the City Wall Park, where you will see the daily lives of the locals. It is a great way to immerse yourself in the local culture. Afterwards, we ascend the ancient City Wall, which is the best preserved of its kind in China. You have the option to take a sightseeing battery car or bike for a tour around. There are also tandems to peddle with your family.

After the visit, we will visit Muslim Street. A historical district made up of snack streets offers the best opportunity to sample authentic local food as lunch. After lunch, your guide will send you to the railway station for you to take another high speed train to Chengdu. Your guide based there will pick you up on arrival and transfer you to the hotel.

Day 8 Chengdu Panda Keeper Program

Chengdu Panda Keeper Program

Today will be an unforgettable day for you to join the volunteer activities and get close to the pandas. Your guide will be waiting at the hotel lobby at 7 am. They will then drive for about 1.5 hours to Dujiangyan Panda Base. Upon arrival, make sure to register first. Afterward, you can clean the panda house, bake cakes for pandas, and feed the pandas under the panda keepers’ guidance. At noon, enjoy authentic Chinese food for lunch. We will send you back to your hotel after the day’s volunteer activities.

Tips: And for the health of these cute yet vulnerable creatures, please remember not to wear perfume or nail polish.

Day 9 Chengdu To Chongqing By High-Speed Train

This morning, we will take you to a local vegetable market to experience the bustling atmosphere of local daily life. Then, head to the closest Giant Panda Post Office. Here, you can create special memories by sending a postcard with good wishes to your loved ones. Afterwards, we’ll take a stroll along Chunxi Road, whose iconic sculpture, a giant climbing giant panda, will make for great photo opportunities.

Later, take a high-speed train to Chongqing. Upon arrival, get in a car and drive to the port, where you will board a luxury ship offered by Century Cruise to start your Yangtze River tour in Chongqing. Enjoy a buffet dinner onboard and have fun at Captain’s Welcome Reception Party.

This morning, stretch your body by learning some Taichi martial arts moves before breakfast. Later, we will have a 2.5-hour shore excursion at Fengdu Ghost City, a temple complex high on a hill dating back 2,000 years that portrays the Chinese version of hell.

After lunch, take a break and join some cultural activities organized by the cruise company onboard.

We will spend today cruising through the Three Gorges, which were once renowned for their breathtaking views and are still remembered by poets in ancient times. An hour before lunch, we will pass the magnificent Qutang Gorge, followed by the picturesque Wu Gorge an hour and a half later. We will also take a 2.5-hour side trip along the Shennv Stream later, where you can enjoy close-up pristine mountain scenery and experience tribal cultures.

After breakfast, pack your belongings and disembark at Maoping pier in Yichang. Continue your shore excursion to the Three Gorges Dam Project Site, the world’s largest hydro plant.

Take a high-speed train in the afternoon to Shanghai. Upon arriving at the railway station, you will be driven to your hotel (Hengshan Moller Villa Hotel) for check-in.

In the morning, let’s visit the Shanghai Museum, which has the largest collection of ancient ceramic art. Afterwards, take a stroll at Yu Garden, a 400-year-old traditional Chinese garden that combines man-made nature and Chinese-style buildings. At noon, you will have the chance to try authentic Shanghai cuisine in a la carte style.

In the afternoon, we will take a walk along the Bund and later go on a cruise along the Huangpu River to experience the magical landscapes on the riverfronts. Then, we will be lifted up to the Duoyun Bookstore on the 52nd floor of the Shanghai Tower, China’s highest tower. On its viewing platforms, you can have a great panorama of Shanghai’s cityscape.
