Welcome to take our China private tour with daily departure, which can be tailored to meet your individual interests. You will enjoy a more personalized experience as the trip is only for your private party, with no other people.

Once you arrive in Beijing, your local guide will meet you at the airport after you reclaim your luggage and clear the customs. Then transfer you to the hotel and help you check in. You will have free time for the rest of the day.
Day 2 Beijing

Begin your private trip with a visit to Tiananmen Square. After that, you will walk for a few minutes to the Forbidden City, the imperial palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties. It is the most comprehensive palace museum, as well as the largest ancient culture and art museum, containing a great collection of valuable historical items in China. To avoid the cheap tourist restaurants as the most are doing now, we specially arrange you an a la carte welcome lunch at a famous and elegant restaurant.

In the afternoon, you will first visit the Yonghe Temple, initially a mansion for Emperor Yongzheng (1678 - 1735) when he was a prince and later used as a Tibetan Buddhist temple. Till today, it is still the most popular temple among pilgrims in Beijing. Then take you to the Temple of Heaven. Four times larger than the Forbidden City in area, the Temple of Heaven has always been a sacred imperial temple for the emperors to sacrifice to the God of Heaven and pray for a good harvest year.

Day 3 Beijing, Great Wall

Today’s highlight is to visit Mutianyu Great Wall. The round-trip cable car is included. The restaurants nearby the site are of low standard, so we do not arrange the lunch today. It may be the best that you have a big breakfast at the hotel and have some fast food for lunch by yourself. Your guide will show you some restaurants. In the afternoon, we will drive you back to downtown and pass by the Bird’s Nest, also called the Olympic National Stadium, we will make a stopover for you to take pictures of this huge nest. Today’s last stop will be Shichahai, a historical area by lakeside gathering many Hutong alleys and traditional folk yards - Siheyuan. You will have a Hutong rickshaw tour to experience the traditional Hutong culture and the local way of life.

Day 4 Beijing - Xian By High-Speed Train

Visit the Summer Palace. In the afternoon, you will experience a 5-hour high speed train to Xi’an. Your local guide and driver will meet you at Xi’an North Railway Station and drive you to check in at the hotel.

Day 5 Xian, Terracotta Warriors

There will be an expected trip to the Terracotta Army this morning. Thousands of life-size pottery soldiers had been made to guard the first Emperor of Qin after his death. Don’t be surprised that you could not find two soldiers alike as they were made exactly identical with the real royal army 2,200 years ago. Then visit the discoverer’s home. Try your hand to make a mini terracotta figure. Lunch is on your own arrangement. In the afternoon, visit the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda and the Great Tang All Day Mall.

Day 6 Xian - Shanghai By Flight

Xian - Shanghai By Flight

After breakfast, you will take a leisure walk in the City Wall Park in the company of our guide and see how the locals go about their daily life. Next, you will visit the City Wall. With about 600 years’ history, the City Wall is the most well-preserved ancient fortification in China. Travelers can ride a bicycle or electric car on the top of the wall, but you need to pay the rental fee on the spot by yourself. It should be a fascinating experience. Next, you will visit the Great Mosque, a remarkable Islamic cultural relic, which perfectly combines Chinese traditional with Islamic architectural styles. Around the mosque is a lively Muslim bazaar, where you could explore for local snacks and handicrafts. We will serve you authentic local snacks at a featured restaurant in Muslim Quarter.

Afterwards, you will board a flight to Shanghai. Transfer from the airport to the hotel will be arranged.

Day 7 Shanghai, Cruise On Huangpu River

This morning you will start from the famous Shanghai Museum, which is a large museum of ancient Chinese art built in 1952. Among its huge collections, the displays of bronze vessels in Shang and Zhou dynasties, ceramic objects of different historical periods and ancient paintings and calligraphy, grace the museum with their incalculable value. The next stop is the Yu Garden, a classical Chinese garden built in 1559. Surrounding the garden, there is a bustling bazaar where you are able to find various storefronts selling different kinds of local snacks and souvenirs. To taste the good Shanghai cuisine, we would like to arrange an a la carte lunch for you at a famous local restaurant.

In the afternoon, your guide will take you to the Bund area, where you will take a one-hour cruise tour along the Huangpu River. You will have some free time to stroll along the Bund. The most attractive site in the Bund area is a group of western-style buildings from the colonial period, including Gothic, Baroque, Romanesque, Classicism and the Renaissance. The last stop is a traditional street named Tianzifang, where is full of a sense of culture and arts.
