Welcome to take our China private tour with daily departure, which can be tailored to meet your individual interests. You will enjoy a more personalized experience as the trip is only for your private party, with no other people.

Upon arrival at Beijing Airport, please clear yourself through customs. Your English-speaking guide will meet you at the arrival hall, after which we will drive you to the hotel. Have a good rest to restore yourself for the following China tour. Or, you can take a short walk around on your own.
Day 2 Beijing

Beijing

After breakfast, you will visit the famous Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. As a palace for 24 emperors during the Ming and Qing dynasties, it has a mysterious aura. An a la carte welcome lunch at a nicely decorated and noted local restaurant will follow allowing you to taste diversified Chinese food.

In the afternoon, continue to explore Yonghe Temple, also known as Lama Temple. It is the most revered Tibetan Buddhist temple outside Tibet. Today’s last stop will be Temple of Heaven, a delicate ancient architectural complex where emperors once offered sacrifices to the God of Heaven.

Day 3 Beijing

Today’s highlight is to visit Mutianyu Great Wall. The round-trip cable car is included. The restaurants nearby the site are of low standard, so we do not arrange the lunch today. It may be the best that you have a big breakfast at the hotel and have some fast food for lunch by yourself. Your guide will show you some restaurants.

In the afternoon, we will drive you back to downtown, stopover at the Bird’s Nest to let you take pictures of its unique appearance, and then a rickshaw ride and a family visit will be arranged in the Hutong alleys for you to experience old Beijingers’ life in depth.

Day 4 Beijing - Xian

Visit the Summer Palace. After that, escort you to Beijing West Railway Station to take a high speed train to Xian. You will meet your Xian guide when you get out of the train station and then be transferred to the hotel.

Day 5 Xian

We will visit the amazing Terracotta Army this morning to appreciate the undeniable excellent ancient craft works of the Qin dynasty. Lunch is on your own. Then visit the discoverer’s home of the first terracotta warrior. Next, the guide will escort you to a nearby workshop, where you can try to make a mini terracotta figure on your own under the guidance of an artisan and with the assistance of different molds.

Then you will be transferred back to downtown to visit Shaanxi History Museum. Finally, your guide will escort you back to the hotel.

Day 6 Xian- Guilin

The City Wall Park is a good place to experience more of the local Xi’an lives, so today your first stop will be spending some leisure time in the park. Then ascend the ancient City Wall and have a panoramic view of the city while strolling on it. The brick road on top of the wall is broad and you can rent and ride bicycles for fun if you like. Then continue to visit the Great Mosque. On the Muslim Street where the mosque is located you will also find delicious Muslim food and interesting souvenirs. We will serve you a local flavored lunch at a noted restaurant there. In the afternoon, drive to visit Han Yang Ling Museum - Yangling Mausoleum of Han Dynasty.

Then you will be transferred to the airport for your onward flight to Guilin. Your local guide will meet you outside the exit. After a warm greeting, you will be escorted to the hotel to check in.

Day 7 Guilin - Yangshuo

After breakfast at the hotel, we drive to the pier to appreciate the picturesque scenery of Li River by cruising down from Guilin to Yangshuo. As the lunch on the ship is the basic Chinese box lunch, it cannot be up to your taste, we suggest you have a big breakfast at the hotel this morning.

Disembark at Yangshuo in about 4 hours, you will, have a short trip to the countryside by bicycle. If you are not good at cycling, we can also arrange to travel around by car; or the guide can accompany you to hike around if you prefer it. Today you will spend one night in Yangshuo.

Day 8 Yangshuo - Guilin

This morning will be left for your own arrangement. In the afternoon, drive back to Guilin. En route, pull over and climb up to Xianggong Hill to have an amazing full view of the Li River, which is astonishing beyond expectation. Arriving in Guilin, visit its natural landmark, Elephant Trunk Hill, named so because it just looks like an elephant drinking water with his truck from the river.

Day 9 Guilin - Chengdu

Guilin - Chengdu

After breakfast, catch a morning flight to Chengdu. Upon your arrival, your guide will be waiting for you outside the baggage claim area and transfer you to Xiaojiahe Community to spend a leisurely afternoon like the locals do. At first, try some delicious Chengdu dishes at Yongle Restaurant at your own expense. After, go to a local vegetable market, where nearby residents shop for not only vegetable, but also meat and more for daily meals. Following walk along the Xiaojiahe river bank for about 15 minutes. There, you will see locals playing mahjong or cards, enjoying tea, or chatting with each other. We will serve you a cup of coffee, specially in a traditional tea bowl with a cover. After the visit, transfer you to the hotel.

Day 10 Chengdu

Chengdu

Today we will have a pleasant date with China’s national treasure giant pandas at the Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. The pandas are very active in the morning. You will sure be entertained when you see the cute and chubby panda bears eating bamboo shoots or playing with each other. Then, continue to the Broad and Narrow Alleys where old houses and alleys of the Qing Dynasty have been turned to tea houses, restaurants, shops and bars. Lunch is arranged on your own. You might try some local snacks in the alley or choose a courtyard restaurant to enjoy your lunch.

In the afternoon, visit Jinsha Site Museum, a significant relic of the ancient Shu civilization discovered in 2001. The Gold Sun God Bird unearthed from the site has been selected as the logo of China Cultural Heritages. Finally, visit the Marriage Market in People’s Park. Here, the background information of the singles and their expectations for the other half are listed on papers and displayed.

Day 11 Chengdu - Chongqing

After having breakfast, pack your luggage and check out, then our guide will escort you to railway station for your onward high speed train to Chongqing. Upon your arrival, your guide in Chongqing will meet you at the station and accompany you to visit Ci Qi Kou (Porcelain Village), the best-preserved traditional block in the city. There, you will see many traditional style residences. It is also a food paradise offering all local featured snacks and dishes. You may try some as lunch. After that, transfer you to the port to board a 5-star Yangtze cruise ship.

Day 12 Yangtze River Cruise

The cruise guide will brief you on the cruise itinerary this morning or the night before. Today, you will disembark and be led to visit the Shuangguishan National Forest Park. After getting back to the ship, you can stand on the deck and look around the rolling steep cliffs while drifting through deep gorges. At night, there will be a welcome party onboard and the staff will put on fantastic performances.

Day 13 Yangtze River Cruise

In the morning, the ship will reach Qutang Gorge and Wu Gorge. The cruise guide on-board is expected to make a formal presentation. Get your camera ready! After lunch, we will disembark to experience an interesting excursion to the Shennv Stream by boat which will add much joy to the marvelous day. It lasts 3 to 4 hours. Back to the ship and cruise down the western section of Xiling Gorge.

Day 14 Yichang - Shanghai

The Three Gorges Dam, the world’s largest hydro-electric project is your last excursion stop on Yangtze. Pack your belongings for disembarking before the visit. Afterwards, the cruise ship company will drive you to the Three Gorges Tourist Center and your local guide will meet you there. Then you will be taking a bullet train to your last scheduled destination, Shanghai. It is a 7.5 hours trip. On arriving at Shanghai railway station, you will be met by the guide and transferred to the hotel.

Day 15 Shanghai

At first, visit Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall. Then head to the ancient Yu Garden, where you can see traditional Chinese architecture, beautiful artificial hills and ponds. We will leave you some free time there to explore the surrounding Yu Bazaar.

Around noon, you will enjoy an a la carte farewell lunch at a popular local restaurant. Afterwards, you will be transferred to the city’s landmark site, the Bund, and take a one-hour cruise tour along the Huangpu River - the mother river of Shanghai. As the symbol and a microcosm of the city, the river has witnessed the glory, humiliation, despair and prosperity of Shanghai. Then we will head for a cultural block in Shanghai to get relaxed before going back to the hotel.
