  • Day 1 Arrival To Sri Lanka & Transfer To Colombo.

      Arrival To Sri Lanka & Transfer To Colombo.

      Ayu-bowan! Welcome to Sri Lanka. Your adventure begins in the town of Colombo, located close to Bandaranaike International Airport.

      After you exit Colombo International airport, Mango Vacations guide will meet you at Arrival lobby in the airport and  take you to a luxurious and comfortable vehicle and drive you to the selected hotel in Colombo which will be your first stop for this Adventure Tour in Sri Lanka.

  • Day 2 Sigiriya.
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Sigiriya.

      After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Sigiriya. En route, enjoy tropical fruits of the season (complimentary) at a local street vendor.

      Check-in to the hotel.

      Late Afternoon, transfer to enjoy a Jeep safari to Minneriya or Kaudulla National Park. 

      (Note: Depending on the date of travel the safari will take place either in Kaudulla or Eco National parks, according to Elephant migration patterns). The park is famous for its large elephant herds along with other wild animal sightings. This national park is one of the best places in the country to see wild elephants, which are often present in huge numbers. Dominated by the ancient Minneriya Wewa, the park has plenty of scrub, forest and wetlands in its 88.9 sq km to also provide shelter for toque macaques, sambar deer, buffalo, crocodiles and leopards. Retrun to the hotel.

  • Day 3 Sigiriya

      Sigiriya

      Early morning, with the noise of birds ...time to wake up... get the hiking shoes, grab your camera and head to climb the incredible Sigiriya Lion Rock. Sigiriya is one of the most famous and attractive places in Sri Lanka. Sigiriya means Lionโ€™s Rock. The height of the rock is around 200 meters. According to the history of Sri Lanka this rock was used as a kingdom in Sri Lanka by king Kashyapa in the 5th century. Promise you... itโ€™s going to be an amazing day. See the ancient wall paintings, the sanskrit marked mirror wall and the huge stone lion paws guarding the ascent to the summit. The views from the top are unrivalled as you travel through time examining the ruins. From here you can view the national parks of Minneriya and Kaudulla where you can see the life of elephants. 

      Return to the hotel for Breakfast.

      Thereafter, transfer to visit Polonnaruwa, the architectural site of the ancient city.

      Polonnaruwa was the second capital of Sri Lanka after the destruction of Anuradhapura in 993. It comprises, besides the Brahmanic monuments built by the Cholas, the monumental ruins of the fabulous garden city created by Parakramabahu I in the 12th century. Retrun to the hotel & relax.

  • Day 4 Kandy

      Kandy

      After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Kandy. (Second largest city) En route, visit the Dambulla cave temple (The temple is carved out of a Rock), the Hindu temple & the most famous Spice Garden in Matale. The Dambulla Cave Temple, also known as the Golden Temple of Dambulla, is a UNESCO World Heritage site located in the central part of Sri Lanka. Itโ€™s renowned for its impressive cave complex, which houses ancient statues and paintings that date back to the 1st century BC. Check in to the hotel. You will be staying in hotel with wonderfull view. Evening, City tour inculding the Temple of the tooth & the cultural dance show in Kandy. The Temple of the Tooth, also known as Sri Dalada Maligawa, is one of the most sacred Buddhist temples in the world, located in Kandy, Sri Lanka. It houses the relic of the tooth of the Buddha, which is believed to be enshrined within the temple complex. This relic holds immense religious significance for Buddhists around the globe, and the temple itself is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Retrun to the hotel.

  • Day 5 Weligama

      After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to the beach stay in Weligama. 

      En route, visit Galle fort, Stelt Fihemen. Galle Fort is a fortified old town located in the city of Galle on the southern coast of Sri Lanka. The fort was built by the Portuguese in the 16th century and later expanded by the Dutch in the 17th century, making it a prime example of colonial architecture and urban planning. The fort is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is known for its stunning blend of European and Asian architecture, featuring colorful buildings with ornate balconies, colonnades, and verandas. The narrow streets are lined with restaurants, boutique shops, and galleries, creating a charming and lively atmosphere. The fort is surrounded by a thick rampart wall and is home to several iconic landmarks, including the Dutch Reformed Church, the Galle Lighthouse, and the National Maritime Museum. Visitors can also explore the fortโ€™s numerous bastions, which offer panoramic views of the Indian Ocean and the surrounding area.

      Optional - Enjoy a Boat safari at Madu River. 

      The Madu Ganga is a minor watercourse which originates near Uragasmanhandiya in the Galle District of Sri Lanka, before widening into the Madu Ganga Lake at Balapitiya. The river then flows for a further a 4.4 km before draining into the Indian Ocean. It is located 88 km south of Colombo and 35 km north of Galle.
