  • Day 1 Day 1: Kathmandu - Nepaljung Flight And Drive To Bardiya

      Day 1: Kathmandu - Nepaljung Flight And Drive To Bardiya

      You leave the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu behind today when you board the domestic flight to the western city of Nepalgunj. Itโ€™s an hour flight where you fly over the very backbone of the mighty Himalayas. It is an excellent flight as you gaze down at the snowcapped peaks. At Nepalgunj, you will meet your representative from Babai Resort, who will take you to your room. Check in, sip on a welcome drink, and feel the peacefulness of the Bardia jungle. In the afternoon, take a trip to see the Tharu Village. The Tharus are the indigenous people of the Jungle who will welcome you into their homes. See the elephant breeding grounds where you will see baby elephants. In the evening, enjoy dinner and relax by the pool.

  • Day 2 Day 2: Jeep Safari Tour

      Day 2: Jeep Safari Tour

      The wild animals of the Jungle rise early, and we do too to have the best opportunity to see them. We have breakfast early, then take a jeep deep into the Jungle. Your guide will take you to different places where tiger sightings are a good possibility. While there is never a 100% chance of seeing a tiger, you have a 90% chance of seeing a tiger over the two days in Bardia. We will take our lunch inside the park as the jeep penetrates deep into the Jungle. Look for wild elephants, Indian One-Horned Rhino, rare birds, and more. Every turn of the road reveals something new. Relax in the evening by the pool.

      In some ways, itโ€™s a repeat of Day 2, but itโ€™s not because thereโ€™s so much more to explore. Each sunrise reveals a new opportunity for adventure in Bardia National Park. We explore new areas, return to some more familiar and breathe in the wonderfully pure air of Bardia National Park. We will enjoy a Tharu cultural program with incredible dancing in the evening.


  • Day 4 Day 4: Fly Back To Kathmandu

      Day 4: Fly Back To Kathmandu

      No doubt youโ€™ve seen a tiger and other jungle animals as you prepare for breakfast and your departure back to Nepalgunj for your flight back to Kathmandu. Itโ€™s been an exciting time, and no doubt youโ€™ve got the photographs and memories to remind you of your Bardia jungle experience.
