      BANGKOK โ€“ AYUTTHAYA โ€“ UTHAI THANI โ€“ NAKORN SAWAN Leisurely cruise down the Sakaekrang River and visit the local riverside market to buy fresh produce and river fish while observing the locals going about their daily lives.ย  Visit Ayutthaya, a UNESCO World Heritage ancient city and the longest-standing capital of the Siamese Kingdomย  Visit the famous Wat Tasung Temple with its incredible crystal hall made of thousands of mirror piecesย  Join us as we pick you up from your hotel and travel to Ayutthaya, a UNESCO World Heritage ancient city. Ayutthaya was the Siamese Kingdom's longest-standing capital, going back to 1350 and lasting until 1767. This historic city attracted traders from all over the world, including Chinese, Vietnamese, Indians, Japanese, and Persians, as well as Europeans such as the Portuguese, Spaniards, Dutch, and French. They were even permitted to establish their own villages outside the walls of the city! Ayutthaya was once regarded as one of the richest towns in the East. We'll see the temple remains of Wat Mahatat and Wat Chai Wattanaram, both of which are spectacular.ย  Then we'll travel to Uthai Thani province to visit the well-known Wat Tasung Temple. You won't want to miss the amazing crystal hall made of thousands of mirror pieces.ย  In the late afternoon, we'll take a leisurely cruise down the Sakaekrang River on a converted rice barge. You'll be able to watch locals going about their daily lives along the riverbank. Finally, we'll go to the riverside market to buy fresh veggies, seasonal fruits, and delicious river fish.       NAKORN SAWAN โ€“ KAMPHAENGPHET โ€“ SUKHOTHAIย  Visit Kamphaengphet's historical park to see the ruins of Wat Pra Kaew, a grand royal temple built in the 13th century for important city events.ย  Explore Sukhothai, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and its historical landmarksย  After breakfast, proceed to Kamphaengphet. We'll begin by visiting Kamphaengphet's historical park, where you can see the ruins of Wat Pra Kaew, a grand royal temple constructed in the 13th century for important city events.ย  Then we'll travel to Sukhothai region, also known as the "Dawn of Happiness." In the 13th century, it was the first truly independent Thai Kingdom. The kingdom thrived and prospered during the reign of King Ramkhamhaeng the Great. He was a brilliant leader in politics, society, and religion, and is best known for creating the Thai alphabets that are still in use today.ย  Then we'll go to the Sukhothai History Park, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You'll be able to visit restored royal temples and other historical locations. Sukhothai is also well-known for its arts and crafts, and it has been designated as a UNESCO Creative City. We'll go to a pottery community and see the renowned "Sangkhalok" Pottery. These lovely white and green glazed pieces have a brown draw motif under the glaze, similar to the Chinese Shu Jol pottery discovered during the Song or Yuan dynasties around BD19-20.       PHRAE โ€“ PHAYAO โ€“ WAT RONG KUN - CHIANG RAIย  Visit the stunning Prathat Suthon Temple in Phrae, with its Burmese and Northern Thai-style structures.ย  See the largest freshwater fish population in the upper North at Kwan Phayao Lake.ย  Visit Chiang Rai's highlights, including the White Temple (Wat Rong Khun) and the bluish Wat Rong Sua Ten.ย  After breakfast, we'll go to Phrae's Prathat Suthon Temple, which has breathtaking structures in Burmese and Northern Thai styles. The folk museum at the temple, which displays exotic antique objects, is well worth a visit. We'll then journey to Chiang Rai via Phayao, stopping at Kwan Phayao Lake, which is home to the region's biggest freshwater fish population and supports local residents' livelihoods.ย  Chiang Rai, founded in 1262 by King Meng Rai, was the center of the Thai Lao Lanna Kingdom until it was conquered by the Burmese militaries.
