Weights or Leads. 1 pre-dive check - ** This is mandatory, very apart from its certification, it serves as a safety filter to distribute groups of divers. Transfer Puerto Ayora โ€“ Isabela โ€“ Puerto Ayora by Public speedboat. Transfer Baltra โ€“ Puerto Ayora โ€“ Baltra (by truck or by bus depending on group size)

Itinerary of your trip Galapagos Scuba Dive - 6 Days

  • Day 1 Day 1: Welcome To Galapagos!
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Day 1: Welcome To Galapagos!

      Morning - After breakfast, take an included early morning flight to the Galapagos (~3 hour flight). Travelers responsible for $100 cash fee to enter Galapagos Islands. - Fly to Baltra Island, a small island of the Galapagos. After landing weโ€™ll make our way to neighboring Santa Cruz with a quick local ferry. - Weโ€™ll jump right in with a stop in the highlands of Santa Cruz to visit a local Giant Tortoise reserve. - Observe these huge, magical creatures in their natural habitat and have the opportunity to explore some nearby lava tunnels while you gain a better appreciation of the natural forces that created these islands. Afternoon - Enjoy lunch at a local ranch in the highlands of Santa Cruz. - After lunch, weโ€™ll continue to Puerto Ayora-the main town in Santa Cruz island. - Visit the Charles Darwin Research  with your Naturalist guide and your Trip Leader. Evening - Take a little time to explore or unwind before we get together for dinner.

  • Day 2 Day 2: Scuba Dive North Seymour

      Day 2: Scuba Dive North Seymour

      Morning - Take a chartered boat to an uninhabited island for diving  where you will get to experience spectacular panoramic views of the island. - Sailing to the dive site. - Dive briefing. - Dive check. - Immersion - Two great dive sites: the Point, and the Channel. The sandy bottom is around 16-18 meters where devil rays, manta rays, eagle rays, marbled rays, stingrays, tiger snake eels, moray eels, camouflaged octopi and sea turtles are a common sight. Afternoon - Lunch  - Surface interval Snack-snorkelling-relax. - The boat will bring you back to Santa Cruz.

  • Day 3 Day 3: Scuba Dive Gordons Rocks
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Day 3: Scuba Dive Gordons Rocks

      Morning - Take a chartered boat to an uninhabited island for diving  where you will get to experience spectacular panoramic views of the island. - Sailing to the dive site. - Dive briefing. - Dive check. - The sandy bottom is around 16-18 meters where devil rays, manta rays, eagle rays, marbled rays, stingrays, tiger snake eels, moray eels, camouflaged octopi and sea turtles are a common sight. Baltra Island is a small island of the Galapagos Islands in Ecuador. This island is very popular for its turquoise blue sea in comparison to the white sand and black lava from the coast. It is a famous spot to surf, snorkel, and dive.
