Itinerary of your trip 4-Day Galapagos Island Hopping Tour In Santa Cruz

  • Day 1 Baltra - Santa Cruz Highland
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Baltra - Santa Cruz Highland

      Pick-up at the airport by our certified guide. Then, your guide will pick you up at the airport and drive up to the ranch in the highlands. This area concentrates vast extensions of forests of Scalesia, Miconia, and giant tortoises. This is a great place to observe these iconic animals in their natural habitat. We will visit lava tunnels and the twin craters of the Galapagos; it is a rewarding visit for nature-loving tourists. The lush green landscape of the highlands stands in stark contrast to the more arid coastlines of the lowlands, providing a very different Galapagos experience. Lookouts over the crater sinkholes show off the stunning scenery, and there are plenty of interesting birds too. Overnight in a hotel in Santa Cruz.

  • Day 2 Full Day Navigable Tour

      Full Day Navigable Tour

      Breakfast in the hotel. Depending on the dates and/or navigable site available, pick-up from the hotel will be early in the morning (6-or 7:00 am) to take you to the small vessel at the embarkation point in Puerto Ayora for a unique experience with Galapagos wildlife and endemic vegetation. The destination can be either Santa Fe, Pinzon, or Floreana. The activities will include hiking, snorkeling, swimming, and breathtaking sightseeing. After land and sea excursions, we will return back to the hotel in Santa Cruz where you can relax 

  • Day 3 Tortuga Bay & Charles Darwin Station / (B, L)

      Tortuga Bay & Charles Darwin Station / (B, L)

      Breakfast in the hotel. Pick up from your hotel at 8:30 a.m. You will take a small road 2,500 meters long up to the access to Tortuga Bay. Enjoy a 2-hour hike (both ways) up to this beautiful beach which is perfectly preserved, and with the presence of wild animals such as iguanas, and beach crabs. Only swim in the mangrove that is separated from the beach. Tortuga Bay is a white sand beach located on the south coast of the island of Santa Cruz. After lunch, you will visit the Charles Darwin Research Station where you will have the opportunity to learn about Galapagos conservation in action. Over 200 scientists and volunteers are involved with research and conservation efforts here. Return. Overnight in Santa Cruz.

  • Day 4 Santa Cruz Island / Transfer To The Airport ( Baltra)

      You will have breakfast and departure for Baltra to catch your flight back to the mainland. Board on the flight to Quito or Guayaquil. 

  • Day 5 Isabela.- Cabo Rosa (โ€œTunelesโ€)

      By boat to Cabo Rosa (45 mn boat ride), where lava has flowed into the ocean and formed beautiful lava tunnels. There you may see penguins, blue-footed boobies and sea turtles. However, the Highlight is snorkeling. You have the chance to see sharks, sea turtles, sea lions, rays, seahorses and many tropical fishes. The tour to Cabo Rosa takes about 5 hours.  The rest of the day is at leisure. You can enjoy the beautiful beach in Isabela or you can snorkel in the Concha de Perla Lagoon (snorkel not included)

  • Day 6 Isabela - Transfer To The Airport In Baltra
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Isabela - Transfer To The Airport In Baltra

      At 5:30 am pick you up at your hotel and go to the pier, where you will take the shared speed boat to Santa Cruz. Afterward, your driver will bring you to the Itabaca Channel, which you will cross on a ferry. Please take into account that your flight does not depart before 12:30 pm.
