      Located about 74.5 miles (120 km) from Arusha and southeast of Lake Manyara National Park, Tarangire National Park is known for its dense wildlife population and houses more than 550 species. These include buffalos, elephants, tree-climbing lions, warthogs, wildebeests, elands, fringe-eared oryx, lesser and greater kudu, gerenuk, impalas, tree-climbing pythons, and much more.
