  • Day 1 Day 1: Kilimanjaro International Airport - Arusha Town

      Day 1: Kilimanjaro International Airport - Arusha Town

      Upon your arrival, you will be collected from the airport and transferred to your lodge in the town of Arusha. If you arrive early enough, you will have an opportunity to explore the lodge grounds, take a dip in the swimming pool or partake in any of the offered additional activities available. Accommodation: Kibo Palace Hotel or similar

  • Day 2 Day 2: Arusha Town - Tarangire National Park

      Day 2: Arusha Town - Tarangire National Park

      Our tour sets off after breakfast, with the first stop being the town of Arusha for some last minute purchases, before we head off on an exciting safari experienceโ€ฆ We will travel towards the Tarangire National Park, where we stop for lunch and afterwards, our first game drive of the safari! Tarangire National Park is well known for its huge elephant population and baobab trees. It forms the centre of the annual migratory cycle that includes up to 3000 elephant, 25,000 wildebeest and 30,000 zebra.  Accommodation: Tarangire Simba Lodge or similar

  • Day 3 Day 3: Tarangire Np - Lake Manyara Np

      Day 3: Tarangire Np - Lake Manyara Np

      After breakfast today we are heading towards Lake Manyara National Park for full day game drive. The spectacular national park is located at the north-western corner of Lake Manyara, a hallow soda lake, which lies at the foot of the Great Rift Valleyโ€™s western escarpment. Lake Manyara covers two thirds of the park. Incredibly, the other third of the park homes a variety of animals, which are supported by open savannah grassland with rocky outcrops, marshes and acacia woodland. Manyara NP is not only known for its large flocks of flamingos, but also for the elusive tree climbing lions. Other animal found here are buffalo, zebra, hippo, leopard, elephants and giraffes.   • Day 4 Day 4: Lake Manyara Np - Serengeti Np

      Our journey starts shortly after breakfast with a scenic drive up the Rift Valley escarpment to Serengeti National Park. You will be crossing Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority and we make a brief stop at Olduvai Gorge and the museum (Option) which documents the discovery of 1.8 million year old human-like fossils. Thereafter we head for the Serengeti National Park, game driving along the way to the campsite.  Accommodation: Serengeti Simba Lodge or similar

      Day 5: Serengeti National Park

      After Breakfast today you will enjoy full day of game driving in the Serengeti National Park. The Serengeti is Tanzaniaโ€™s oldest and most popular National Park, also a world heritage site and recently proclaimed a 7th world wide wonder, the Serengeti offers arguably the most scintillating game-viewing in Africa. As the sun rises on the Serengeti Plains you will enjoy breakfast while anticipating the wondrous sites that are in store for the day. The day will be spent enjoying a game drive exploring the vast plains and woodlands of the Park. Expect to spot a large variety of wildlife including zebra, wildebeest, lion, giraffe, dik dik, impala, gazelle, buffalo and hippo it is not uncommon to encounter an elusive leopard, playful lion cubs or friendly and inquisitive elephants. Lunch can be packed and taken with you, or you can opt to have a hot lunch prepared for you back at your lodge. In the afternoon return to the lodge for a well-earned sundowner before your evening meal. Accommodation: Serengeti Simba Lodge or similar

  • Day 6 Day 6: Serengeti National Park

      Day 6: Serengeti National Park

      An early start sees us heading out after breakfast for a game drive in the magnificent Serengeti National Park. With a picnic lunch provided, we will go ahead with game drives throughout the afternoon in the endless plains spotting many animals and truly realizing just why this National Park is so famous.  In the late afternoon we drive back to the lodge for an overnight.   Accommodation: Serengeti Simba Lodge or similar

  • Day 7 Day 7: Serengeti Np - Ngorongoro Crater

      Day 7: Serengeti Np - Ngorongoro Crater

      We take an early breakfast at the camp and then head to the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater. On arrival we go through the registration process and descend to the floor of the worldโ€™s largest unbroken caldera for the most wonderful day of game viewing. We will have lunch at the designated picnic site at the side of the hippo pool and continue with a game drive as we drive up the crater rim for overnight. Accommodation: Karatu Simba Lodge or similar 

  • Day 8 Day 8: Ngorongoro - Zanzibar

      Day 8: Ngorongoro - Zanzibar

      After breakfast we explore the colourful town of Mto-wa-Mbu for some last minute pictures and curio shopping. Afterwards we head to Arusha town to connect with your local flight to Zanzibar. Accommodation: Zanzibar Serena Hotel or similar

  • Day 9 Day 9: Zanzibar Beach

      Day 9: Zanzibar Beach

      Relax at the Hotel. The beautiful coastlines with its palm-fringed beaches create an image of a forgotten paradise. Most are protected by coral reefs and are made of white coral sand. Here you can relax on the balmy, tropical shores of the Indian Ocean. In the morning it may be possible to see some of the local fisherman, in their traditional dhows, bringing in their catch of the day. Spend your day relaxing on the beach or snorkeling in crystal-clear water. There are several optional excursions can be arranged through the hotel, such as scuba diving, boat excursions or fishing trips.  Accommodation: Zanzibar Serena Hotel or similar
