For the observation of the biggest living lemur of the planet, the Indri-indri, in its natural environment, and the other species of diurnal and nocturnal lemurs, frogs and reptiles that populate the park.       You have the opportunity to discover the private park of Vakona: This reserve, very well-conceived, includes a small informal museum, a lake with crocodiles, various species of reptiles and batrachians, several endemic plants, a superb aviary and especially a "mini-park" with lemurs including several small islands where various species of these prosimians are loafing around. The endemicities of the fauna and flora are dominant. Picnic lunch in the park. Dinner and night in a lodge.

      Return to Maroantsetra and stop at the Nosy Mangabe reserve which is the largest island in the Antongil bay with an area of 520 ha, it is a humid and evergreen forest. Wright and Pierre Verin, researchers suggest that man inhabited the islet in the 8th century AD. The Europeans, more precisely the Hollander, were the great visitors to this islet, it was the cause of an appropriate stopover on the road to India and spices. Nowadays, the real witness is the "Hollandersโ€™ beachโ€, Hollandersโ€™ writings on the rocks of the islet. Return to Maroantsetra before early afternoon. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
