      On arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, a representative from our office will greet you at the airport and escort you to your pre booked hotel. Youโ€™ll have rest of the day at leisure to freshen up and relax. Overnight: Hotel in Kathmandu

      We visit cultural and religious sites that are UNESCO Listed world heritage sites. Our first stop will be Kathmandu Durbar Square which showcases Kathmanduโ€™s rich architectural progess during the Malla dynasty (1201โ€“1769), and then Swayambhunath Stupa which tourists commonly refer to as the โ€˜Monkey Templeโ€™ due to large number of the monkey population in the vicinity. Next is Pashupatinath Temple which is one of the most sacred pilgrimage sites for Hindus all over the world followed by the Buddhist shrine of Boudhanath which is one of the largest stupas in the world.       Today we  take a short flight to Pokhara and drive to Nayapul, just outside of the town and we begin our trek. Todays walk follows a stone pathway, and for the most time we are climbing roughly - it can be tough on the knees so bring walking poles. Along the way we pass through lots of little villages โ€“ Mathathanti, Lamdali, Sudame, Hile, and Tikhedhunga โ€“ getting a nice glimpse at the local rural lifestyle. We stop for lunch at Tikhedhunga and start going up through the steep steps of  Ulleri which will need a great deal of stamina.  Overnight in Ulleri Meals: Breakfast Lunch Dinner

      After breakfast, we start climbing up thousands of additional stone steps again to enter the village of Ghorepani. As we are ascending we admire the spectacular scenery as Annapurna South looms large, coming and going from our view. We pass waterfalls, tiny villages, and several tea-houses before reaching Ghorepani. The village has good wi-fi and shops selling handicraft items.       Getting up early in the morning we reach Poon Hill which is a viewpoint for the spectacular Himalayan panorama extending from Dhaulagiri to Annapurna to Machhapuchhre; that stretches from Dhaulagiri I ( 8167m) and Tukuche (6920m) to Nilgiri (6940m), Annapurna South, Annapurna I (8091m), Hiunchuli (6441m) and Tarke  Kang (7193m). We then trek back to Ghorepani, have breakfast and then walk towards east and climb a ridge. Our trail descends through rhododendron forests and waterfalls before we reach Tadapani. Overnight in Tadapani Meals:Breakfast Lunch Dinner

      Today we trek for 6 hours with an initial descent of 3 hours through rhododendron forests. For another 3 hours we walk through suspension bridges and millet fields to reach beautiful village of Chhomrong.  Overnight in Chhomrong Meals:Breakfast Lunch Dinner

      Today we walk though stone steps and cross the Chhomrong River on a swaying suspension bridge. It is an uphill climb that takes us to Sinuwa. From Sinuwa we walk through forest to Kuldihar followed by an easy downhill walk to Bamboo. Overnight in Bamboo Meals:Breakfast Lunch Dinner

      Today is a short day walk of 3 to 4 hours climbing past lodges and over the stream to the boulder lined path. The trail then crosses several rivers and a beautiful waterfall and forest to reach Deurali. Overnight in Deurali Meals:Breakfast Lunch Dinner

  • Day 9 Day 9: Deurali To Annapurna Base Camp (4,130M/13,545Ft) Via Machhapuchhre Base Camp; Descend Down To Machhapuchhre Base Camp (5-6 Hours Walk)

      Starting early morning, today we climb gently through a river bed then over a steep trail over to the mountain side. The hike from Bagar to Machhapuchhre Base Camp is a bit strenuous. From Machhapuchhre base camp we get excellent views of the  Machhapuchhre (machha, fishโ€™ and puchare, โ€™tailโ€™) along with Mt. Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Annapurna III, Gandharvachuli and Gangapurna. The vegetation disappears on our way to Annapurna Base Camp and the path widens as we enter the Annapurna sanctuary. The sanctuary boasts of a dynamic view without anything impeding the 360-degree panorama. From the base camp we again get to savor mesmerizing views of the Machhapuchhre, Annapurna South , Annapurna I, Hiunchuli and other peaks. We descend down to lower altitude at Machhapuchhre Base Camp for sleep overnight.

      Descending through rhododendron forest full of noisy birds - mostly Black-capped Sibia, we then cross the Chommrong Khola and climb up to Chommrong village (2060m) where we take a rest break. We then begin a short climb back up through forest to the small village of Komrong Danda (2654m). Shortly we reach Jhinnu Danda. Overnight: Guest House in Jhinu Danda at an altitude 1700m Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

      Today on our final day of trekking we first descend to the Kimrong Khola which we cross and then tackle a short ascent. Descending further we follow the Modi River until we reach Nayapul where we meet our car and make the short drive back to Pokhara where we have hot shower and relax in the hotel or stroll around at lakeside.       After breakfast, we drive to Kathmandu.
