Transport

Surface transfer between Kathmandu to Pokhara and Pokhara to Kathmandu by tourist bus. Transfer from Pokhara to the trek starting point and ending point to Pokhara by private vehicle.

Domestic Airfare Instead of driving to/from Pokhara by bus, you can also opt for domestic flights. The ride usually takes 6-7 hours or more, depending on the traffic, and can be exhausting. The flight duration is 25 minutes on-air, and the additional cost for a round-trip flight is USD 180.00 after offsetting the bus fare.

  • Day 1 Arrive At Tribhuwan International Airport (Tia) Kathmandu

      You arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu at any time will be welcomed by Nepal Hiking Teamโ€™s airport representative. S/he will transfer you to the hotel. Our representative will also explain about the program in detail. You can relax at the hotel since we do not have any plan for this day.

  • Day 2 Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing Tour

      Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing Tour

      This is your second day in Kathmandu. On this day, you will get enough time to make preparation for the trek. We will get the chance of sightseeing around the cultural heritage sites in Kathmandu especially which are enlisted in UNESCO world heritage site. We will visit Kathmandu Durbar Square which holds several temples including the home of Living Goddess. We will then go for sightseeing to Swayambhunath Temple which lies on the top of the hill and is also known as Monkey Temple. Moreover, visiting Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest stupas on earth will amaze you. To experience another remarkable part of the sightseeing tour, we will visit Pashupatinath Temple, an important Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. We will then relax at hotel for the remaining part of the day.

  • Day 3 Drive To Pokhara (Duration: 7-8 Hours, Distance: 201 Km, 822M)

      We will depart from Kathmandu, enjoying a scenic drive to Pokhara, which takes approximately 6 hours. On the way, we will get to see cultivated terraced fields, rocky gorges, rivers, green valleys and the typical rustic life of Nepal. Pokhara also popular as a natural paradise will present an astonishing views of the Himalayas including Manaslu, Dhaulagiri, and Machhapuchhre, as well as the five mountains of Annapurna. In Pokhara, we will stay at the hotel in the beautiful lake city to let you enjoy the experience of boating in stunning Phewa Lake accompanied by the vast panorama of the Himalaya range, lush hills and more.

  • Day 4 Drive To Birenthanti And Trek To Ulleri (1.2 Hours Drive, 4-5 Hours Trek, Distance: 9-10 Km, 1030M)

      After breakfast, youโ€™ll drive from Pokhara to Birenthanti, the starting point of your trek. The drive takes you through scenic villages like Lumle and Nayapul. Once in Birenthanti, youโ€™ll start trekking through lush forests, crossing streams, and passing by small waterfalls. The trail ascends gradually until you reach Tikhedhunga. From there, youโ€™ll tackle the steep climb up 3,300 stone steps to reach Ulleri, a charming village with views of the surrounding hills and valleys.

  • Day 5 Trek From Ulleri To Ghorepani (Duration: 5-6 Hours, Distance: 9-10 Km, 2880M)

      Trek From Ulleri To Ghorepani (Duration: 5-6 Hours, Distance: 9-10 Km, 2880M)

      Start your day with a trek from Ulleri to Ghorepani. The trail begins with a gradual ascent through dense rhododendron and oak forests, offering occasional glimpses of the snow-capped mountains. Youโ€™ll pass through small villages like Banthanti and Nangethanti, where you can take breaks and enjoy the serene surroundings. As you continue, the trail becomes steeper, leading you up to Ghorepani, a traditional village perched at 2880m. Ghorepani offers stunning panoramic views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges, making it a perfect spot to rest and prepare for the next dayโ€™s hike to Poon Hill.

  • Day 6 Hike To Poon Hill, Trek To Tadapani (Duration: 6-7 Hours, Distance: 9-10 Km, 3210M At Poon Hill, 2630M At Tadapani)

      This is the most important day of the Annapurna Panorama Trek. We will begin walking early in the morning to reach Poon Hill and witness the dreamlike moment. The magnificent experience of watching first ray of sun over the Himalayan giants like Mt. Dhaulagiri (8,167m), Mt. Annapurna I (8,091m), Annapurna II (7937m), Annapurna III (7555m), Annapurna IV (7525m), Mt. Nilgiri (7,040m), Annapurna south (7219m), Himchuli (6441m), Lamjung Himal (6,986m), fishtail or Machhapuchhre (6,997m), and more will be memorable forever. We will spend time at the hill taking pictures and return to Ghorepani. From here, we will trek to Tadapani passing through rhododendron woods. If you are trekking in spring, you will notice 15 different species of rhododendron budding colorfully before reaching Tadapani. Tadapani also flaunts the stunning views of Annapurna South (7219m), Machhapuchhre (6993m) and Himchuli.

  • Day 7 Trek To Ghandruk, Drive To Pokhara (Duration: 4-5 Hours, Distance: 8-9 Km, 1940M)

      Trek To Ghandruk, Drive To Pokhara (Duration: 4-5 Hours, Distance: 8-9 Km, 1940M)

      From Tadapani the trail descends through forests to Ghandruk, a village of Gurung people, one of the ethnic groups of Nepal. From Ghandruk village easy walking all downhill to Nayapul, we then take a short drive to Pokhara.

  • Day 8 Drive Back To Kathmandu (Duration: 7-8 Hours, Distance: 201 Km, 1335M).
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Drive Back To Kathmandu (Duration: 7-8 Hours, Distance: 201 Km, 1335M).

      We will today drive to Kathmandu. On the way, from the left side of the vehicle, we will get to see enjoyable sight of the river gorges, mountains, rustic settlements and terraces. Then you, will be transferred to the hotel where you can just relax.

  • Day 9 Farewell

      Experiencing awesome time and collecting wonderful memories after finishing your Annapurna Panorama Trek, you will return back from Nepal. Our airport representative will transfer you to the airport and then you will depart from Nepal.
