  • Day 1 Day 1: Arrival In Kathmandu & Transfer To Hotel.

      Upon arrival at Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be met by a representative from Sherpa Expedition & Trekking and taken to your hotel in Thamel, the bustling tourist hub of Kathmandu. After checking in at the hotel, you will be briefed on what to expect on your trek.

  • Day 2 Day 2: Drive From Kathmandu To Pokhara (8,50M) 6-7 Hours.

      Today we have a 6 to 7-hour road trip to Pokhara Valley and its charming Phewa Tal (lake). On arrival, we will check in to our hotel close to Phewa Tal. There is plenty to keep you entertained along โ€˜Lakesideโ€™ with its many shops, bars and restaurants where you can sit back and watch over the lake. Watching the sun go down over the lake is a great way to end the day.

  • Day 3 Day 3: Drive From Pokhara To Nayapul (1050M) & Trek To Ghandruk (1940M) 6-7 Hours.

      This morning we take a short bus ride from Pokhara to Nayapul from where we trek to Ghandruk. We follow the trail alongside the Modi Khola, cross the river at Birethanti and then take the trail through the Modi Khola Valley. We then come to Sauly Bazaar and then climb up steps and continue until we come to the Gurung village of Ghandruk. Ghandruk is well known for its lively Buddhist monasteries and houses constructed of slate and stone. You will also have some grea mountain views from here.

  • Day 4 Day 4: Trek From Ghandruk To Tadapani (2675M) 4-5 Hours.

      Today the trail takes us through rhododendron and oak forests. There are no teahouses on this leg of the trek, with the next one being at Baisi Kharka (buffalo grazing place) where we will stop for a short break. In this section of the trail, we have some awesome views of Machapuchare (6993m - Fishtail), Annapurna II (7937m), Annapurna III (7555m), Annapurna IV (7525m), Annapurna South (7237m), and Lamjung Himal (6931m).

  • Day 5 Day 5: Trek From Tadapani To Bayeli Kharka (3450M) 5-6 Hours.

      If you are an early riser you will get to witness a beautiful sunrise in the constantly changing morning light. We then head out on the trail through the rhododendron forest before coming to Bayeli Kharka. You will also have some terrific views of the Annapurna Ranges along the trail. From Bayeli you have views of Mt. Dhaulagiri (the worldโ€™s 7th highest peak).

  • Day 6 Day 6: Trek From Bayli Kharka To Khopra Danda (Ridge) (3660M) 5-6 Hours.

      This morning we descend to Chhsitibang Village and then continue on to Khopra Ridge. Along the trail we can see pheasant (Nepalโ€™s national emblem), yaks and Himalayan Tahr. From the ridge you have some more magnificent views of Mt. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna I, South, Tukuche Peak, Dhampus Peak, Mt. Nilgiri, and other snow covered peaks.

  • Day 7 Day 7: Trek From Khopra Danda To Swanta (2214M) 4-5 Hours.

      From Khopra Ridge we can trek up to Khayer Lake at 4600 meters which is around 5 hours return trek. This is a fantastic nature walk and will afford you more peace and seclusion. Today we have a fairly easy trek to Swanta that is famous for having its own cheese factory that you can visit and sample some of its cheeses โ€“ including yak cheeses. We will stay here overnight.

  • Day 8 Day 8: Trek From Swanta To Ghorepani (2880M) 5-6 Hours.

      Today the trailheads to Ghorepani, a town that is famous for its mountain views, especially at sunrise and sunset. At first, we will head to Chitre Village and then along the main trail to Ghorepani from where we can see Mt. Dhaulagiri, Machapuchare (Fishtail), Annapurna South, I, and other glorious snow-capped peaks. Before sunset, you may wish to take the short trek up to Poon Hill that has a well-deserved reputation as a perfect viewpoint of many great peaks, and even more stunning in the fading daylight.

  • Day 9 Day 9: Early Morning Hike Up To Poon Hill (3,210M) Then Trek To Pokhara (8,50M) 7-8 Hours.

      If you managed to make your way to Poon Hill last night and watched the sunset, then you will be eager to see the sunrise from this viewpoint. You will have the best sunrise views, anywhere in Nepal, of the surrounding Himalayan Mountains. You have uninterrupted views of the  Annapurna Ranges and numerous mountains, such as:  Dhaulagiri (8167m), Annapurna I  (8091m), Annapurna II  (7937m), Annapurna III  (7855m), Annapurna IV (7525m), Annapurna South (729m), Nilgiri  (6940m), Tukuche  (6920m), Varaha Shikhar (7847m) & Lamjung Himal (6931m). After sending your camera into overdrive we will return for breakfast at Ghorepani and then head to Nayapul and drive back to Pokhara. 

  • Day 10 Day 10: Drive From Pokhara To Kathmandu (1,350M) 6-7 Hours.

      This morning we will head back on the road to Kathmandu. If you are thinking about extending your trip you may wish to consider the Chitwan jungle safari, river rafting adventure, Kathmandu shopping tour, white water rafting and canoeing, mountain biking and other activities.

      Today is the end of your adventure to Nepal. A representative from Sherpa Expedition and Trekking will take you to the airport approximately 3 hours before your scheduled flight. On your journey home you can look back at the incredible journey into the Himalayan Mountains and maybe you will be contemplating your next adventure with us.
