      Welcome to Kathmandu, Nepal! When your plane lands, an Asian Heritage Treks & Travel representative will greet you at the airport. Then, the driver will take you to the hotel. On your way to the hotel, you will pass by the Open Cremation Site (Pashupatinath temple), the Royal Palace Museum, Narayanhity, and the Garden of Dreams.


      Your hotel will be in the heart of downtown, near tourist attractions. Our representative will assist and discuss your travel plans. There will be enough time to wander the streets of Thamel.

  • Day 2 Drive To Bhulbhule (840M), (7-8 Hours)

      After breakfast, take a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Bhulbhule via Besishahar. On clear days, prepare to be mesmerized by the picturesque views of Nepalโ€™s countryside, which includes rivers, streams, lush jungles, and majestic mountains.

  • Day 3 Bhulbhule To Chamje (1430M), (7-8 Hours)

      After breakfast in Bhulbhule, you will start your trek to Chamje. You will be served lunch on the way to Chamje. You must walk along the steep and slippery trail that runs through fields of rice. After a while, the trail ascends through the rhododendron forest towards Chamje.

  • Day 4 Chamje To Bagarchhap (2160M), (3-4 Hours)

      Though todayโ€™s hike is short, itโ€™s a steady climb through the meadow and pasture trail to Khopra Ridge. If youโ€™re lucky, you might see the Nepalese national bird, the pheasant, as well as a snow leopard. After arriving in Khopra, you can enjoy a spectacular view of Mount Dhaulagiri and Annapurna South Peak. Check into the lodge and explore the surrounding area of Khopra, where you can see the Kali Gandaki River flowing down the George from the Khopra Ridge viewpoint.

      Today, you will walk over a rough and rocky trail to climb to Timang (2360m). From Timang, you will walk through a forest near the river to reach Kopar (2590m). After having some rest, you will continue walking to reach your final destination of the day, Chame, which is seen as the headquarters of the Manang district. From Chame, you can witness the fine views of Annapurna, and nearby are two small hot springs.

  • Day 6 Chame To Pisang (3200M), (6-7 Hours)

      Today, you will walk to Pisang. You will hike through a very narrow, steep valley that is completely covered in forest. You will cross the river, walk for some time, and then cross another bridge at 3040m. From here, you can see the towering Paungda Danda rock face. Afterward, the trail leads upward to Pisang, where you will stay for the night.

  • Day 7 Pisang To Manang (3500M), (4-5 Hours)

      Today, you will walk through the upper part of the Manang district, which is a shadow cast by the Annapurna Range. The people of this region rely on farm animals and agricultural farming. Leaving Pisang, their alternate trails north and south of the Marshyangdi River converge at Mungji.


      The southern route via the Hongde airstrip (3325m) requires less climbing than the northern route via Ghyaru, but the trail that follows the riverโ€™s northern bank provides better views. The trail leads from Mungji to nearby Manang, passing through the picturesque but partially hidden village of Bryanga (3475m).

      Today marks your acclimatization day in Manang. Youโ€™ll have the opportunity to explore the village and marvel at its stunning sights. Remember to prioritize rest and rejuvenation, allowing your body to adapt to the altitude for the adventures ahead in the coming trekking days.

      After breakfast, set out on a scenic trek to Khangsar, a picturesque village development committee located in the Manang district of north-central Nepal. Khangsar, located at an elevation of 3,756 meters above sea level, provides breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains when the weather is clear. Enjoy the beauty of the Himalayan landscape as you travel through this charming village.

  • Day 10 Trekking To Tilicho Base Camp (4200M), (5 Hours)

      After breakfast, you will head to the Tilicho Base Camp, from which you will begin your ascent to the worldโ€™s highest lake, Tilicho. The beautiful lake is located 4919 meters above sea level. Along the way, you can see blue sheep, yaks, and other Alpine animals grazing in the meadow. You can also enjoy your walk because you will be able to see mountains such as Gangapurna, Annapurna 3, and others from the trail.

      Today, youโ€™ll have breakfast earlier than usual and start walking to avoid the wind. The journey from Basecamp to Tilicho Lake takes approximately 3 to 4 hours. Tilicho Lakeโ€™s temperature remains relatively stable in the afternoon and early morning before the sunrise. We will return to Base Camp via the same route after exploring Tilicho Lake, as there are no accommodations in the Tilicho Lake area.

  • Day 12 Trek To Yak Kharka (4000M) (5 Hours)

      After breakfast at Base Camp, youโ€™ll retrace your steps along an unmarked trail, winding your way around and descending to cross the river via an old log bridge located between Gumsang and Yak Kharka. As you ascend from the river, youโ€™ll gradually make your way up to Yak Kharka, where youโ€™ll spend the night, surrounded by the tranquility of the Himalayan landscape.

      Todayโ€™s trek begins with a two-and-a-half-hour gradual ascent before descending again to cross the river at 4310 meters. Following that, you will ascend once more to Thorang Phedi, your destination for the day.

  • Day 14 Trek To Muktinath (3800 M) Via Thorung La Pass (5416M) (8 Hours)

      Todayโ€™s trek begins with a two-and-a-half-hour gradual ascent before descending again to cross the river at 4310 meters. Following that, you will ascend once more to Thorang Phedi, your destination for the day.


      Another 4-hour trek will take you to the sacred town of Muktinath. It is said that visiting the temple, which is a sacred pilgrimage site for both Hindus and Buddhists, will alleviate all of your sorrows. The temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and has 108 waterspouts that pour holy water. Another nearby attraction is the Jwala Mai Temple. This temple features a spring and an eternal flame powered by natural underground gas.

  • Day 15 Trek To Jomsom (2713M) (6-7 Hours)

      You will start your day by visiting the Muktinath temple. In the morning, you can see the mountains and surrounding areas with crystal clarity. Furthermore, many pilgrims visit and worship at the Muktinath temple. There are 108 water taps and two small ponds, and Hindus believe that if you bathe under 108 taps (108 is a sacred number in Tibetan Buddhism) of cow-shaped heads, all your sins from your previous life will be washed away, and the door to heaven will be opened for you after you leave this world.

       

      After a short walk, you will come across Chortens, home to the Dhola member Gompa, or Jwala Mai (goddess of fire), a temple where a holy flame of natural gas burns behind a grill just above the spring. After seeing these sights, youโ€™ll eat breakfast and begin trekking to Jomsom via Jharkot village, Kagbeni, and Ekle Bhatti. You will arrive in Jomsom and check into your lodge.

  • Day 16 Flight To Pokhara (20-Minute Flight)

      You will have an early breakfast at the lodge before heading to the airport to catch your flight to Pokhara, a lakeside paradise city. It will take approximately 30 minutes to reach Pokhara. During the flight, you can see numerous mountains as well as the trail leading to Tatopani and Ghorepani. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and spend the day exploring Pokhara.

      You can enjoy walking around the lakeside and taking a fun boat ride across Phewa Lake to see the view and shadow of Annapurna, Machhapuchhre, and Dhaulagiri Mountains on the water.

  • Day 17 Drive Back To Kathmandu (6-7 Hours)

      After breakfast, we will get into the vehicle and drive back to Kathmandu. Arrive in Kathmandu and check into the hotel. The bus ride from Pokhara is time-consuming and weather-dependent. In the evening, you can stroll through Thamelโ€™s streets and buy souvenirs for friends and family. Otherwise, you can rest at the hotel and pack your belongings.

  • Day 18 Departure

      Departure

      Your trip will come to an end today. After breakfast, our representative will pick you up with a private van and drop you off at Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport approximately three hours before your scheduled flight back to your home or other destination.
