  • Day 1 Day 1: Arrival Day In Kathmandu

      Day 1: Arrival Day In Kathmandu

      This is the first day of the Annapurna Circuit Trek. You arrive to Kathmandu today. We will assist you to drive you to hotel after welcoming you at the Kathmandu airport arrival hall. We will have a trip briefing meeting today if your arrival is early in the day or if your arrival is late, we will meet tomorrow morning for the same. 

  • Day 2 Day 2: Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour

      Day 2: Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour

      It is a preparation and acclimatization day in Kathmandu before we set off for the trekking adventure. We will go for a sightseeing tour of cultural heritage monuments in Kathmandu valley. The heritage tour in Kathmandu is a rich cultural, historical and spiritual immersion that takes us right back to the ancient time when Kathmandu valley used to be a lake. 


      We visit Swoyambhunath aka monkey temple, Patan Durbar Square โ€“ a medieval palace square, Pashupatinath to see Hindu cremation on the bank of River Bagmati, and finally Boudhanath โ€“ the largest Buddhist stupa.


      We will return back to hotel leaving ample time to go for any last minute preparation of the big trekking adventure to the Annapurna Base Camp. 

  • Day 3 Day 3: Drive To Chamje (1,960M)

      We check out the hotel early in the morning to drive to Chamje. We will have to bear with a long day drive including some off-roading experience. The highway drive to Besi Sahar and four wheel drive to Chamje from Besi Sahar onwards is a beautiful chance to see and get some basic idea of how the life outside Kathmandu looks like. We reach Chamje and check in to a guest house and prepare for the walk to start tomorrow.

  • Day 4 Day 4: Trek To Dharapani (1,860M)

      Day 4: Trek To Dharapani (1,860M)

      We will embark on the trekking adventure on the trip. On the first day of traversing Annapurna Circuit trail, we will trek to Dharapani as our destination. The trail meanders through beautiful surroundings along the Marshyangdi River valley. We trek past beautiful villages and other wonderful surroundings that make the very first day on foot a great experience. When we reach Dharapani, we may meet the trekkers returning back from Manaslu Circuit Trek as this is the place where the trail from Manaslu joins the Annapurna. 

  • Day 5 Day 5: Trek To Chame (2,650M)

      Day 5: Trek To Chame (2,650M)

      We will trek to Chame as our destination today. After registering at the ACAP check post, we will continue the walk through beautiful villages of Dana, Timang, Thanchok, Koto and several other beautiful places. We will explore the rural charm and enjoy the views of the surroundings. Chame is a beautiful settlement in the region. It is also the headquarters of Manang district and is a famous stopover place for the trekkers in the region. 

  • Day 6 Day 6: Trek To Pisang (3,250M)

      Day 6: Trek To Pisang (3,250M)

      The higher we trek, we can see the more influence of Buddhism in local life. Chame village has a beautiful entrance gate with prayer wheel and mani wall suggesting us the influence of Buddhism. We will trek to Pisang village today. There are two villages in Pisang โ€“ Lower Pisang and Upper Pisang. Lower Pisang lies on the bank of the river and Upper Pisang is across the river up the hill which provides the view of Lower Pisang below on the river bank. It is another beautiful day trek that brings wonderful mountain surroundings and the river valley riches.

  • Day 7 Day 7: Trek To Manang (3,519M)

      We will continue our trek to Manang today. The walk will take us past villages and beautiful surroundings with the views of the snow-capped mountains. As the trail meanders along the mountains, we follow its course. The nature keeps revealing the wonders to ease our walking effort at the high elevation. Manang is a beautiful village in the district and provides magnificent view of Annapurna II, Annapurna III, Gangapurna and many other mountain peaks in the Annapurna range of the Himalayas. 

  • Day 8 Day 8: Acclimatization Day At Manang

      We spend an extra day here at Manang to acclimatize and explore the surrounding wonders. A full day at Manang prepares us to trek further higher.

  • Day 9 Day 9: Trek To Yak Kharka (4,035M)

      Although the walk to Yak Kharka is a not a long one, the high elevation walking makes us feel the challenge. With an extra day at Manang, we are well prepared to trek to the higher altitude. Our walk to Yak Kharka today follows the trail that meanders through beautiful mountain surroundings. We start experiencing a complete change in the landscape. Trees changes to bushes, grassy pasture with lots of bare landscapes in sight. All the surroundings suggest us of being at the high altitude. We reach Yak Kharka that lies in a grassy slope above the river bed and stay overnight there. 

  • Day 10 Day 10: Trek To Thorong Phedi (4,540M)

      Our trek takes us to the bottom of Thorong La today. After walking several days in the mountains, we have finally reached closer to the big adventure of crossing the Thorong La tomorrow. The walk today to Thorong Phedi is enriched by the views of the mountains and the wonderful surrounding landscapes. Once we reach the destination, we will take relaxing time to prepare for the big adventure awaiting us for tomorrow morning. 

  • Day 11 Day 11: Cross Thorong La (5,416M) And Trek To Muktinath (3,710M)

      Day 11: Cross Thorong La (5,416M) And Trek To Muktinath (3,710M)

      We are finally on the day of the big adventure of crossing Thorong La. Although the trek all the way through has been an adventurous wonder, Thorong La adds more to the adventure thrill of trekking in the mountains. We start the day early in the morning trekking uphill towards the pass and reach the top to enjoy magical views and experience wonderful feeling of being at the elevation of 5,416 meters above sea level โ€“ the highest elevation for this trip. 


      Later, we trek down to Muktinath on the other side of the pass. Muktinath is a sacred spiritual place with a temple that is revered widely. We explore the place once we reach there.

  • Day 12 Day 12: Trek To Kagbeni (2,804M)

      After trekking multiple days in the Marshyangdi River valley and over the Thorong La pass, itโ€™s now turn to walk on another river valley โ€“ Kali Gandaki river valley. We are trekking to Kagbeni, a beautiful oasis in Lower Mustang region that lies on the bank of Kali Gandaki River. It is an easy day of trekking compared to what we have done so far. We stay overnight at Kagbeni.

  • Day 13 Day 13: Trek To Jomsom (2,743M)

      Day 13: Trek To Jomsom (2,743M)

      We are on the last day of trekking adventure today. We will trek to Jomsom to bring the walking part of the trip to the end. The walk today is another easy day walk. When we reach Jomsom, we will have enough time to explore the town of Jomsom.

  • Day 14 Day 14: Fly To Pokhara (900M)

      Day 14: Fly To Pokhara (900M)

      We will fly to Pokhara in the morning. Itโ€™s a short flight of about 20 minutes that flies through Kali Gandaki River valley past parallel to the Annapurna range. Once we reach Pokhara, we will have free time to relax and wander around. 

  • Day 15 Day 15: Drive To Kathmandu

      Day 15: Drive To Kathmandu

      We will drive back to Kathmandu. About seven hours of drive takes us back to Kathmandu. There is a flight option at an extra cost. Once back in Kathmandu, we will have free time to relax.

  • Day 16 Day 16: Departure Day

      We are on the last day of the trip. We will drive you to airport for your departure flight. Get ready at your hotel three hours prior to your flight time.
