We will stay the night at Manang.

Today is a physically hard day on the trek as we hike for around 7 to 8 hours. The higher altitude also adds to the degree of difficulty, and there are often very strong winds in these upper regions that make it more exhausting to walk. On the trail we may pass sheep, yaks and merchants transporting their goods. At Thorong La Pass we will have fantastic views of Annapurna, Gangapurna and the distinctive peak of Khatungkang (6484m). We then descend for around 1600 metres. On the trail we will also have views of Dhaulagiri, (Dhavali giri, meaning โ€œWhite Mountainโ€) the highest mountain that is entirely within the borders of Nepal.
