Day 1
Pick up time: Usually between 7am and 7:30am, from your Luanda location. Discuss the meeting point with our guide or arrange pickup prior to your trip commencing. Today we will take an early VIP Coach bus intercity to Benguela from Luanda.
Activities: On the first day we will ride around Acacias Rubras Park, visit the slavery museum (recently completed renovation in 2016), Populo church and also the governorโs palace, historic radio station, and other historical buildings.
We'll cap it off with a seaside meal at terminus restaurant or other en route if it is closed that day. (Terminus Hotel restaurant at Restinga-Lobito -ย Itโs 35 km between Benguela and Lobito.)ย
Day 2
Pick up time:ย Between 8:30am and 9am
Activities:ย Today we will take a boat tour or a barge tour. The tour will be approximately four hours. Being on the ocean will allow us to appreciate the coastal scenary from a different perspective.
Day 3
Pick up time:ย You will be picked up at approximately 10am and the tour today is about five hours long.
Activities:ย Today we will tour Lobito.ย Here, we willย visit the monuments and spend the day touring and end up relaxing on the beach and resting.ย Lobito is a small city of Benguela situated in middle of the sea looking deceptively like an island. Lobito is so pretty that cruise ships have started to come there in recent years very regularly.
Day 4
Pick up time:ย On day four, you will be picked up around 10am for an all day excursion.
Activities: Today will include a little safari inย Chimalavera Park / Blue Bay / Caotinha Beach. We will head to blue bay to take some pictures and enjoy the incredible view, followed by Caotinha cliffs and beaches. Next, we will go to Chimalavera Park. Chimalavera is a natural small park founded in 1974 with an area of 150 km. Here you can find primates, very elegant gazelles, and a huge variety of lovely birds for birdwatching.
Finally, at night we can have some fun in a club as you like, and dance away the last hours of your last night with some of the best Angolan dancing (Tchirinawa and Kalunga are nice places)ย and nightlife!
Day 5
Today our pickup time is a bit more flexible and will be discussed the night prior. We will head back to Luanda by VIP coach today and end the tour.
