In this wonderful scenario are communities that manually produce their own crafts using straws seeds and roots for coloring and decoration, communities that create turtles, bees, fish and practice international ecotourism.

Equally important, it is worth mentioning the fact that there are few speedboats in Alter do Chao that are able to cross the dangerous and turbulent waters of the Tapajos River, which 90% of the days produce waves up to 2 meters high due to the intense winds in this locality of the river. In the mode of the two-day tour, after visiting the paradise of Torono instead of going back to Alter do Chao, we will continue our trip to spend the night at Ponta Grande beach. One of the most beautiful points that even covers three-quarters of the river, place in which your eyes and senses will marvel at beauty and tranquility, perfect elements to meditate and ponder our lives.
