Rise and shine! At around 4:30 am, our driver will be ready to take you on a remarkable journey to Abu Simbel. Traveling with a small group, you’ll arrive around 8 am at one of Egypt’s most awe-inspiring sites - the rock-cut temples of Abu Simbel. These temples, with their unique design, were constructed for the legendary King Ramesses II and his beloved Queen Nefertari. After your mesmerizing visit, you’ll return to the cruise around noon, just in time for a delicious lunch. As the day unfolds, you’ll set sail for the captivating city of Kom Ombo.

After a hearty breakfast, it’s time for a delightful horse carriage ride with your tour guide to explore the Temple of Horus in Edfu. This temple is often regarded as the most complete and best-preserved of all the Egyptian temples, making it a true treasure of antiquity. Afterward, you’ll return to the comfort of your cruise, where you can unwind on deck, taking in the unique landscape and the breathtaking beauty of the Nile River. Your journey continues as you sail towards Luxor, passing through the Esna Lock along the way. Lunch is served on board, and you can savor afternoon tea on the sundeck. Late in the afternoon, you’ll arrive at your Luxor cruise dock, where you’ll be transferred to the East bank to visit the illustrious Luxor Temple. This site is a mesmerizing fusion of ancient Egyptian, Christian, and Islamic influences. The evening brings more enchantment as you enjoy dinner on board and a lively belly dancing show. After your breakfast , it’s time to explore the treasures of Luxor’s West Bank. You’ll begin with a visit to the Valley of the Kings, where the pharaohs of the New Kingdom concealed their riches and protected their mummies in mountain-carved tombs. Next, you’ll explore the captivating Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari, learning about her fascinating history alongside her nephew. The West Bank adventure concludes with a photo stop in front of the colossal statues of Memnon. Lunchtime presents the opportunity to savor local cuisine at a nearby restaurant (optional). Your journey then takes you back to the East Bank to visit the awe-inspiring Karnak Temple, an architectural marvel that was constructed over 2,000 years, covering a sprawling 63-acre area. Capture unforgettable moments between its towering pillars and magnificent obelisks. Finally, as the day winds down, you’ll be transferred to your Luxor hotel, airport, or railway station (usually between 3:00 to 4:00 pm).
