Itinerary

Day 1: Addis Ababa

Stop At: National Museum of Ethiopia, King George VI Street, Addis Ababa Ethiopia
Meet at Bole International airport and transfer to hotel. The rest of the day is exploring the town of Addis Ababa; we began with National Museum to view the 3.6 million-year-old remains of Lucy, whose skeletal remains were discovered in 1974.

Stop At: Holy Trinity Cathedral, Aratkilo area Addis, Addis Ababa 123 Ethiopia
Holy Trinity Cathedrals and time permitting Mount Entoto which rises up to an altitude of 3200 meters and offers the panoramic view of the metropolis and Mercato the open market.

Day 2: Addis Ababa - Mekele - Hamed Ela

Pass By: Berhale, Ethiopia
Early morning fly to Mekele and meet vehicles and drive from Mekele to Hamed ella via Berhale, beautiful town in amazing rock formation and the best place for picture of the Camel Caravan with the African Sunset.

Day 3: Hamed Ella - Dalol - Dodem

Stop At: Dallol, Ethiopia
Visit Asale Salt mining with the salt workers and the merchant from the highland salt market and the lake and proceed 17 km to Dalol and enjoy the spectacular view and small hill which is colorful by hot spring in several places. The hot spring out with the sulfur, potash and salt it forms spectacular formation.

Day 4: Dodem - Erta Alle

Stop At: Erta Ale, 6611 Ethiopia
Early morning start walking to the Erta Alle Volcanic hills (613 meters above sea level) and see the volcanic eruption; the eruption is so colorful and spectacular. We will camp nearby the eruption considering the direction of the wind because of the volcanic acid which is not good for health, anytime any one can see or take a picture. To get Best pictures of the volcano will be a night shooting.

Day 5: Erta Alle - Mekele

Stop At: Mek'ele, Mek'ele, Tigray Region
Early morning walking back to Dodem and meet the driver and drive back to Mekele.

Day 6: Mekele - Addis Ababa

Stop At: Addis Ababa, Addis Ababa
Fly from Mekele to Addis Ababa. The rest of the day, optional sightseeing in Addis Ababa and at Evening we will dine a fare well dinner with traditional music and dance then transfer to airport for departure.
