Itinerary

Day 1: in UB (Ulaanbaatar, the capital city of Mongolia). Pick up at airport and drive to hotel and check in.

Welcome to Ulaanbaatar, the capital city of Mongolia! Out tour guide and bus driver will pick you up at airport and drive to hotel and check in. Breakfast/lunch/dinner is provided depending on the arrival time. Guide will introduce next day plan.

Day 2: Guided city tour in Ulaanbaatar by bus.

Our guide and bus driver will pick you up at the hotel in the morning and start visiting places listed in Day 2 tour outline. Depending on city traffic, all places may not be available to visit, but we will try to get all places done when you arrive back to city at the end.

Day 3: Travel Bayan-Ulgii Province, the westernmost art of Mongolia. (3 hours by domestic airplane).

Our local guides and drivers will meet you at the airport in Ulgii. Check in Ger camp/Hotel located near Ulgii town. Meet the team and welcoming, introduction, briefing the tour program. City tour in Ulgii town visit local museum, shops.

Ulgii city is a small city with 40,000 people including Kazakhs, the majority and other ethnic groups of Mongolia, the minority of the province.

Day 4: Breakfast at Ger camp/hotel. Start driving to IkhOygur Mountain through Ulaankhus Village, Sogog.

The road is unpaved country road. You will pass 3 villages on the way. Petroglyphs are available to see on the way. Reach the Park ranger and camp near Potaniny Glacier.Set up camp and dinner. Destination: 260 km/6-7 Hrs. Once you reach the destination, our team will set up tents for you and prepare dinner.

Day 5: Hiking up to mountains, and on the glacier, sightseeing.

Pass By: Potanin Glacier, Mongolia
Today is hiking activity day. After breakfast, you will hike up to Potanyn Glacier, hills and see the highest peaks of Mongolia. Return camp in the afternoon and rest.

Day 6: Drive towards Khoton, Khurgan Lakes. Petroglyphs, bal-bal stones . Destination is about 250 km/ 7 hours. Stay in tents

Today is another long drive day. You can stop anytime when you want for rest, take photographs, enjoying the nature, meeting nomads and chat. Hiking, walking is also available by the lake. There is military post check point to see the permit and check passports.

Day 7: Hiking to IkhTurgen waterfall. Enjoying the lakes. Drive back to Ulgii town. explore eagle hunting techniques,

Today you will hike about 5 miles from the base camp to waterfall and back. Enjoy nature, take photographs and see waterfall. Once you come back to base camp, you pack up and start driving to Ulgii, the province center. Visit nomads and families on the way and explore Kazakh tradition, costume, and life style, eagle hunting techniques, skills and stories. Stay in Ger camp/Hotel

Pass By: Khoton Lake, Mongolia

Day 8: Fly back to UB. Check in hotel. Rest

You will go check in 2 hours before the flight. The flight schedule will be confirmed before your trip starts to Mongolia. Our guides in UB will meet you at the airport and take to Breakfast/lunch/dinner is provided depending on the arrival time. Guide will introduce next day plan.

Today we will organize for you short trip to ChinggisKhaan Statue near UB. The destination is 30 km one way.

Pass By: Genghis Khan Statue Complex, Tsonjin Boldog, Ulaanbaatar Mongolia
Visit Chiggis Khaan statue in about 30 km.

Day 10: Departure.
