Itinerary of your trip Admire The Wild Beauty Of The Mounts Of Vietnam In Sapa And

  • Day 1 Hanoi - Bac Ha (Lunch)
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Hanoi - Bac Ha (Lunch)

Around 7:00 AM, our guide and vehicle will welcome you at the meeting point in Hanoi. Weโ€™ll start our journey from Hanoi to Lao Cai on a highway, heading to the stunning โ€™White Plateauโ€™ of Bac Ha. After about 5 hours of travel (not counting breaks), weโ€™ll reach Bac Ha. Letโ€™s enjoy a delicious lunch at a homestay and take a short rest.

In the afternoon, our guide and vehicle will take you to visit the Palace of Hoang A Tuong, an important king in Bac Ha in the early 20th century. The palace, over 100 years old, is right in the center of the town. Youโ€™ll see beautifully carved doors and a special rectangular design.

Weโ€™ll also visit a village where the Flower Hโ€™Mong people and Phu La people live. Along the way, you can admire stunning terraced fields and stop by Pแป Chแป“ suspension bridge and other cool spots. Thereโ€™s something special here โ€“ a kindergarten with a French-style building! Youโ€™ll also hear a touching story about this school.

In the evening, youโ€™ll return to the homestay and have some free time to explore Bac Ha town. At the weekend, donโ€™t miss out on the Bac Ha Night Market. It takes place every Saturday night at the crossroads area, in front of Bac Ha Temple. The market starts at 8:00 PM and goes on until 10:00 PM.

  • Day 2 Bac Ha - Sapa (Breakfast, Lunch)
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

Bac Ha - Sapa (Breakfast, Lunch)

After breakfast, our vehicle will pick up us  from your hotel and head to the Bac Ha Market. This market takes place every Sunday morning. Itโ€™s a gathering point for people from various ethnic groups living in the area, such as Tay, Nung, Hโ€™mong, Dao, La Chi, Kinh, and Phu La. The market is not only a place for buying and exchanging goods but also a chance for people to meet friends who live far away, sometimes across several mountains! The market is divided into different sections, including a buffalo market and areas for selling food items and various types of livestock like chickens, ducks, rabbits, and dogs and cats. You can buy many local specialties, herbs, rice, unique foods, and spices. Next, youโ€™ll visit the special corn wine-making village of Ban Pho, where spring water flows from a cave, cool and perfect for brewing wine, especially with yeast from the Hong My tree, which gives the wine a distinct aroma. You can even participate in the wine-making process and have conversations with the locals about Bac Haโ€™s seasonal specialties. After that, youโ€™ll return to the homestay for lunch and check-out.

In the afternoon, our guide and vehicle will take you over the mountains to Sapa, the gem of the Northwest region. Youโ€™ll have lunch at a local restaurant before checking into your hotel and resting for a bit. After that, we will visit the famous Cat Cat village, located 4km from Sapa, to explore the life of the Hโ€™Mong people. We can visit the village, shop for traditional Hmong items like dresses, scarves, or bags.

In the evening, youโ€™ll have the freedom to explore Sapa town. You can visit the stone church, the Sapa night market, or indulge in Sapaโ€™s cuisine. You can also choose to relax by taking a Dao ฤแป herbal bath to unwind after a day of walking (additional cost for food and herbal bath). Overnight stay in Sapa.

  • Day 3 Sapa - Return To Hanoi (Breakfast, Lunch)
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

Sapa - Return To Hanoi (Breakfast, Lunch)

After breakfast, our guide and vehicle will pick-up us to head to the Fansipan Cable Car Station to begin our journey to conquer the "Roof of Indochina." This cable is the worldโ€™s most modern 3-rope cable car system, with cabins capable of carrying up to 30 people. From the station, going through the Heavenly Gate of Thanh Van Dac Lo, youโ€™ll arrive at a world of endless clouds. Go on to Bรญch Vรขn Zen Monastery, which is located on an altitude of over 2,000m, welcoming visitors and Buddhist followers from all directions with its pure Vietnamese architectural style amidst the mist. As you walk amidst the mountain breeze and clouds, reaching an altitude of 3,000m, youโ€™ll come face to face with the 21.5m tall bronze statue of Buddha Amitabha, standing majestically. From the Buddha statue, the path of the Arhat - where 18 bronze statues of compassionate Arhat monks stand at 2.5m high - will lead you to the complex of Kim Son Bao Thang Monastery, displaying the ancient beauty of Vietnamese wooden pagodas from the 15th-16th centuries.

Later, we will meet the statue of Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva, the Temple of Mountain Gods, and finally, after conquering 600 green stone steps, youโ€™ll reach the peak of Fansipan at an elevation of 3,143m, the rooftop of Indochina.

After the visit, our guide will take us back to Sapa town for lunch and a short rest before heading back to Hanoi. After around 5 hours of travel (excluding rest stops), you will arrive back in Hanoi and say goodbye to our guide here.
