Here youโ€™ll have time to wander and to taste the local fare. Next stop is the quaint township of Tanunda. Enjoy a walk and a bite to eat before checking into your accommodation this afternoon. Later, head off to Seppeltsfield Winery for a walk around the Jam Factory followed by a behind the scenes look through the estateโ€™s treasure trove of historical buildings including the underground blending cellar. Day 3: The Barossa - Adelaide Hills

Your day begins with breakfast overlooking the glorious Jacobโ€™s Creek vineyards, then add some Maggie Beerโ€™s flair to your cooking, in the very studio where Maggie and Simon filmed the Cook and the Chef, at a private demonstration. Sample the many products at her farm shop. Leaving the Barossa behind, head through the picturesque Adelaide Hills to Barristers Block; a small and friendly family run winery. Here youโ€™ll enjoy a wine tasting at their cellar door followed by a leisurely lunch of homemade pizzas and shared local platters. Itโ€™s then onto historic Hahndorf. Settled by 19th-century Lutheran migrants, itโ€™s known for its original German-style architecture and artisanal food. To learn more, visit the Hahndorf Academy, home to the German Migration Museum. On arrival, check into your boutique style accommodation for an afternoon and evening at leisure. It will be hard to resist a stroll down the colourful main street where youโ€™ll find the Australian Opal Company, the Alpaca Shop or the Hahndorf Leathersmith and Bush Gallery. Tonight, why not head out to taste some true German fare washed down with an iced cold beer?
