Today we're taking a city tour of Accra with so many places to explore. You'll visit the Dr. Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, National Museum of History and Ethnography to observe exhibits that reflect the heritage of Ghana. The W.E.B. Du Bois Center honoring the life of one of the most prominent Pan-Africanists who chose to live and work in Ghana, we'll finish up with a visit to the Arts and Crafts Bazaar.  Independence Square, Accraโ€™s open-air ceremonial grounds where all national celebrations are held.

Three major galleries highlight artifacts from ancient and contemporary Africa. Historic sculptures are displayed alongside the works of modern West African artists. Travelers can wander the halls decorated with traditional attire and handcrafted instruments, impressive and ornate chiefsโ€™ regalia, and bronze statues from neighboring countries. A unique sculpture garden displays life-size 3-D images of Kawme Nkrumah, the nationโ€™s first president, and other political figures. The library, conservation laboratory and education hall are also popular stops on a tour of the National Museum of Ghana.     Makola Market is a renowned local and multi indoors and open outdoors market place and shopping district in the centre of the city of Accra. Be exposed to the busy  women traders at Makola Market, Accra's largest outdoor market...as you enjoy the colorful and joyful hustles of the people..shop for something and enjoy everything that the local has to offer while you take pictures
