Itinerary

Day 1: Punta Arenas, Arrival - Puerto Natales

Stop At: Punta Arenas, Punta Arenas, Magallanes Region
Reception at Punta Arenas Airport (we recommend you take a flight to Punta Arenas, arriving before 5:00pm). Transfer to the local terminal to take the regular bus heading the city of Puerto Natales.

Day 2: Full day Hike Laguna Sarmiento to Laguna Amarga

Stop At: Torres del Paine, Torres del Paine, Magallanes Region
This is an excursion that joins two of the three accesses that has the Torres del Paine National Park allowing to visit a little known and very attractive perspective for the observation of fauna. Its scenic environment is definitely a place worth exploring.
Sarmiento & Amarga entrances medium intensity trek, soft hike that passes by two of the Torres del Paine National Park entrances. Depart from your hotel in Puerto Natales to go to the Lago Sarmiento Entrance, where we will begin our trek of near 6 km (3.7 miles) -recommended to train for the Base of Torres del Paine Trek. We will follow a softly inclined track, with a view of the Sarmiento Lake, hunting area of the puma. After walking for 1 hour, we will see rock paintings of about 6000 years old. Hunter groups that were the first inhabitants of Patagonia frequented this place. Here we will rest and take pictures of the surroundings, while we listen to the local history. Then, we will go on to the Blanquillos Lagoon, nesting place of different birds. After 3 hours of trek, we will reach the Laguna Amarga Entrance, where we will be able to use the bathroom so then we can board our vehicle and go towards the Paine Waterfall, where we will be able to see the water color variation because of the sediment and minerals. Here we will enjoy our box lunch, with a view of the Torres del Paine.
Finally, we will pass by the Caรฑadรณn Macho, natural habitat of guanacos' groups, in the way back to the city of Puerto Natales.

Day 3: Full Day Hike to Base Las Torres

Stop At: Torres del Paine National Park, Torres del Paine National Park, Magallanes Region
Early morning departure from your hotel in Puerto Natales, to go to the Las Torres sector, where Estancia Cerro Paine is located. There we will start our trekking along a path in the direction of the valley, passing by a suspension bridge over the Ascencio River. About 150 meters further on we will take a fork that will take us to Base Las Torres.We will continue along a zig zag path of marked slope for one hour. We will pass by a slope and after 45 minutes we will arrive at the Chileno campsite, on the bank opposite the river, in the shade of a forest with moderate slope. After just over an hour from the campsite we will reach the foot of the moraine to access the viewpoint through a path of increased slope. Half an hour later we will reach the eastern end of the lagoon, with a beautiful view of the three towers and Peineta and Nido de Cรณndores hills. We will take advantage of the place to enjoy our box lunch, to then return to the starting point. There we will board the vehicle that will take us back to Puerto Natales.

Day 4: Puerto Natales - El Calafate

Stop At: El Calafate, El Calafate, Province of Santa Cruz, Patagonia
At the agreed time, transfer to take the regular bus heading to El Calafate in Argentina, in a 5 hour trip.
On Arrival to El Calafate, you will be transfered to your hotel

Day 5: El Calafate - Perito Moreno Glacier

Stop At: El Calafate, El Calafate, Province of Santa Cruz, Patagonia
We leave early in the morning from Calafate, and after 80 km we arrive in the walkway area in front of Perito Moreno Glacier. During this journey you will have time to walk along the walkways which connect different viewpoints through paths and stairs, and where you can enjoy different panoramic views of this spectacular glacier.And as if it wasnยดt enough, later on you will have the once in a life time oportunity to see the Perito Moreno from an unique angle. During one hour you will be sailing through the Rich Branch of Lake Argentino, at a distance of 150 meters from the south face of the glacier in an unforgettable boat ride.

Day 6: El Calafate - El Chalten

After Breakfast @ your hotel you will be transfered to Bus Station, to take your bus to El Chalten, this is a big bus and the ride can take around 4 hours, so we do recomend you to take a long a book so you can read during this trip. On Arrival to El Chalten, you will be transfered to your hotel

Day 7: Full day Hike to Laguna de los Tres

Stop At: El Chalten, El Chalten, Province of Santa Cruz, Patagonia
Today, youโ€™re set to hike the 12.5 km round-trip to Laguna de Los Tres: a clear lagoon at the foot of Mount Chalten. Surrounded by snow-capped mountains and striking granite peaks, this hike has some short steep sections, but as one of the most frequented hikes, the terrain itself is not hugely difficult. You can expect to walk from 6ยฌ to 9 hours on clearly marked and well-maintained paths.Wind and rain may be the main challenges you face on these hikes.Once hike ends, you wil go to your hotel

Day 8: Full day Hike to Laguna Torres

Stop At: El Chalten, El Chalten, Province of Santa Cruz, Patagonia
Today we will take a moderate hike to Laguna Torre, leaving from near the hotel. This valley trek, taking around 7 hours, will take you past scenic viewpoints with panoramas of Cerro Solo, Cerro Torre and Mount Fitz Roy. Youโ€™ll see floating icebergs broken off the front face of the spectacular Grande glacier, and upon arrival at Laguna Torre, witness the steep valleys frame Cerro Torre: the highest in its mountain chain. You may even be able to make out a daredevil on the side of the mountain scaling one of its faces.

Day 9: Bus transfer from El Chalten to El Calafate
