Day 1: Arrival In Lhasa

Stop At: Lhasa, Lhasa, Tibet
Your arrival in Lhasa either by flight or Train from Mainland China or flight from Kathmandu, the stunning view of the Himalayan ranges and panoramic landscapes of Tibet would be great first impression on tour to Tibet. Your arrival in Tibet at Lhasa Airport or train station, our local Guide will greet you with Tibetan traditional greeting scarf and our guide and drive will escort you to holly Lhasa by passing through the terrific view of Grand Brahmaputra or Yarlong Tsangpo river, barren hills and far view of the Potala Palace. The distance from Airport and Train station are 55km and 25km respectively. After your arrival at hotel, we recommend you to acclimatize your body to the high altitude by taking rest in the hotel rather than being too active at the first arrival in high altitude.
Stay overnight in Lhasa.

Day 2: Potala Palace And Jokhang Temple

Stop At: Potala Palace, No.35 Gongqian Alley, Beijing Middle Road Cheng Guan District, Lhasa 850000 China
The first full day of your trip in Lhasa sightseeing may let you feel the altitude sickness. But, taking some more water than at your home will alleviate your altitude sickness or headache.
After your breakfast in the hotel, our guide will meet you on schedule. Then we are going to visit the one of the most famous in the world UNESCO heritage site Potala Palace. We are going to visit the palace which was first constructed in 7th century by 33th Dharma king Songtsen Gompo of Tibet. The present Potala Palace was reconstructed by 5th Dalai Lama in 17th century. Since the 7th Dalai Lama constructed a new Palace in Lhasa, then it became Winter Palace of all the successive Dalai Lamas.

Stop At: Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Street, Chengguan District, Lhasa 850000 China
In the afternoon, we are going to visit another UNESCO heritage site Jokhang Temple and Barker Street. Jokhang Temple is the oldest Buddhism temple in Tibet and it is the most vital pilgrimage destination for all the Tibetan people. Around the temple is Barkhor Street, is the most crowded and most different street in the World where you will definitely enjoy the unique and distinctive culture and traditions. By walking around the temple, you will see many souvenir shops and experience the life in Tibet with Tibetan pilgrims by shoulder to shoulder. Enjoy it and take some memorable experiences from Tibet.

Day 3: Drepung and Sera Monasteries

Stop At: Drepung Monastery (Zhebang Si), Southern Slope of Genpeiwuzi Mountain, Chengguan District, Lhasa 850000 China
Today’s tour is to Two largest Gelugpa monasteries. First, we are going to visit Drepung Monastery, which was founded in 1416 by Jamayan Choeje who was one of the most important disciples of the Gelugpa school founder Je Tsongkhapa. Before 5th Dalai Lama moved his administration to Potala Palace, it was being the main residence of the Dalai Lamas. It is exclusive to explore the great kitchen, large assemble hall in which housed more 10,000 monks. You will joy more than what you have expected.

Stop At: Sera Monastery, Wuze Hill , Sera Chengguan District, Lhasa 850000 China
After our lunch, today’s full day trip will be finished with a visit to the another largest Gelugpa monastery,Sera. This monastery was founded by an another important disciple of Je Tsongkhapa at same year of his death in 1419. Before or after we visit the Tibetan Buddhism library and its printing room and Three different Sand Mandalas, we would totally intrigued by seeing the distinctive Tibetan Buddhism analytical and philosophical debates running in Sera Monastery by hundreds of monks who are in debating courtyard.

Day 4: YAMDROK LAKE-GLACIER-STUPA-SHIGATSE(3870M)

Stop At: Yamdrok Yumtso Lake, Langkazi Country, Nagarze County 851100 China
Today, we are going to explore outside of the Lhasa with beautiful lake, glacier, mastiff dogs, Yaks, and monasteries with completed different constructions and buddhism principles. First sight on the way to Shigatse, Yamdrok lake(4400m) which we will see the breathtaking lake from the Gampala Summit(4790) and snow-capped Mt.Nyenchen Kangsar (7191m)

Stop At: Karo La Glacier, Provincial Road S307, Nagarze County 851100 China
It is totally amazed by the view of the lake and snow capped mountains, then further to Gyantse and Shigatse via bloomy glaciers(Karola glacier-5050m) and scattered villages

Pass By: Palkhor Monastery and Kumbum Stupa, Northwest of the County, Gyangze County 857400 China
They are so beautiful to discover the history of the ancient time and learn more about the people of the Gyantse how they were inevitably involved in war with Young-husband troops in Tibet. Then drive 90Km to second largest city under Tibet Autonomous regions(Shigatse-3900m). On the way from Gyantse we may visit traditional Barley Mill and view the landscape of Barley Field during the summer time.

Day 5: SHIGATSE – SAKYA MONASTERY- SHEGAR (4100m),280km,5hrs

Stop At: Tashilunpo Monastery, Jijilangka Road, Shigatse 857001 China
Today, we are going to visit the Seat of the Panchen Lama, is the second highest ranking in Gelugpa Buddhism Order. Tashi Lhunpo Monastery was first founded by 1st Dalai Lama in 1447 and later this monastery was offered to Panchen Lama then it became the seat of all the Panchen Lamas

Stop At: Sakya Monastery, Basiba Road, Sa'gya County 857800 China
After our visit, we obtain the Alien’s Travel Permit from Shigatse ,then we will drive along the Friendship Highway to New Tingri. Before arriving at Shegar, we will visit the Largest Buddhism Library in the world, Sakya Monastery by switching from Friendship Highway to Sakya village road. This monster was founded by Non Konck Gyalpo, later time the Great Sakya Masters Kunga Gyaltsen and His Nephew Drolgon Choegyal Phorpa contributed to the monastery. Today, the most amazing treasures in the monastery are scriptures and murals. After the visit, drive back to the Friendship Highway and continuously driving to Shegar.

Day 6: New Tingri – EBC(5200m)/Rongbuk monastery, 120km, 4hrs.

Stop At: Mt. Everest Base Camp, kathmandu, Thamel, Tingri County 858200 China
Today, we will drive to the Mt.Everest Base Camp by very early in the morning to see the Best Sun Rise from the Gaylpo Pass(5128m). If the weather permits us, the Sunrise from the Gyalpo La Summit is the best.

Stop At: Mount Everest, Mt Everest
After few kilometers from Shegar, we will arrive at border check point where all the travelers, guide and drivers should go to check. Then we are entering to the Mt.Everest Natural Preserve Areas and drive up to the Gaylpo La Pass by zig-zag road. From this summit, we enjoy the view of long Himalayan ranges with five tallest mountains in the world with above 8000m, these five peaks are; Mt.Makula( 8463m), Mt.Lhotse( 8516m), Mt.Everest( 8848m), Mt.Cho Oyu (8201m), and Mt.Shishapangpa(8020) at very far left.

Stop At: Rongbuk Monastery, near North Everest Base Camp, Tingri County China
Rongpu Monastery(5200m). This monastery houses both monks and nuns meditators. After we left our stuffs in the Tibetan Yak Haired Tent Guesthouse, we go to Mt.Everest Base Camp Board Sign With 5200m and enjoy the North Face Of Mt.Everest. Moreover, we come back from the Base Camp to visit the Monastery where we will get wonderful photos of Monastery and Mt.Everest. We will visit inside the monastery and make round the monastery is stunning to take pictures and wait for the Sunset Pictures.

Stop At: Mt. Everest Base Camp, kathmandu, Thamel, Tingri County 858200 China
Once We arrive at Mount Everest Base Camp, we will proceed to walk to the sign board of the Mt.Everest and enjoy the sunset at the peak of it.

Day 7: EBC - RONGBUK - OLD TINGRI (4390m) – KYIRONG Town, 380km,7hrs,40min

Stop At: Mt. Everest Base Camp, kathmandu, Thamel, Tingri County 858200 China
Today,we wake up early in the morning to see the striking view of marvelous sunrise on the peak of Mt.Everest. By enjoying the strong Sunrise on the peak of the world at altitude 5200m is the best memorable and challenge in our life. Then we are saying goodbye to the pyramid view of the world tallest mountain

Stop At: Shishapangma, Nyalam County, Shigatse, China
At this area, we will have reflection photos of Mt.Shishangpama from the Peigu Tso Lake
Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Peikucuo Lake, Cha'na Country, Nyalam County 858300 China
On the way to Gyirong, we will see beautiful lake Peigu Tso and Mt.Shishangpama. At this area, we will have reflection photos of Mt.Shishangpama from the Peigu Tso Lake. Then we drive to the Kyirong Town by crossing the Gong Than La Pass(5238m)

Day 8: GYIRONG - Kathmandu(150km)

Pass By: Gyirong County, Shigatse, Tibet, China
Today, you are going to leave the territory of Tibet-China. Driving down to the border port by 25km and our guide will see you off till the
Nepal territory. Before your last day on Tibet Plateau, we highly appreciate and request you to fill the evaluation form about our services and your trip on Tibet Plateau. Thank you have joined with us.
Tips To Kathmandu:
After you have entered into Nepal, your Nepal Entry Visa can be obtained on your arrival. If you didn’t book with travel agency from Nepal, shouldn’t worry about transportation to Kathmandu. You can find vehicles to Kathmandu from the Nepalese border.
