Itinerary

Day 1: Addis Ababa

Stop At: National Museum of Ethiopia, King George VI Street, Addis Ababa Ethiopia
After a brief break your first visit in Addis Ababa will be the National Museum. It houses numerous antiquarian relics and archaeological artifacts (most famous exhibit is the 3.5 million year old skeleton of Lucy).
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Mount Entoto, Addis Ababa Ethiopia
Then you will continue to visit Mount Entoto (3,200 above sea level. The Church of St Mary (1885) and Emperor Menelik II Palace. The Entoto Museum, with its historical exhibits is well worth a visit.

Stop At: Holy Trinity Cathedral, Aratkilo area Addis, Addis Ababa 123 Ethiopia
After lunch you will visit Trinity Cathedral. It was constructed by Emperor Haile Selassie in 1947 (ornamented with carvings and mosaic and other artistic works such as paintings of saints and the apostles on the stained glass).

Stop At: Addis Mercato, Kenya St, Addis Ababa null Ethiopia
And your final destination for the day will be Merkato, the largest open market in Africa.

Day 2: Addis Ababa - Jimma

Pass By: Gibe Sheleko National Park, Welkite Ethiopia
In the morning after breakfast, you will drive to Jimma (345 Km from Addis). On the way you will pass through beautiful landscapes as you drive through the Gibe River Valley.

Stop At: Aba Jifar Palace, North of Jimma, Jimma Ethiopia
Later, you can visit Jimma Museum and King Abba Jiffar Place. You will have dinner and spend the night at the hotel.

Day 3: Jimma - Bonga

Stop At: Bonga, Bonga, Southern Nations, Nationalities, and People's Region
After an early morning breakfast you will drive to Bonga (125 Kms from Jimma) the birth place of coffee. And upon arrival at Bonga, you will visit to a traditional Kaffa house and learn about the culture of the Kaffa people. You will have lunch at Bonga.

After having lunch drive to Ellelo, Adiyo falls, the Dadiben and Gora Hot spring. You will have dinner and spend the night at the hotel.

Day 4: Trekking Mankira

Stop At: Bonga, Bonga, Southern Nations, Nationalities, and People's Region
An early morning trek after breakfast will take you to Mankira, the place where coffee Arabica was discovered. En route visit the ancient Adaracha Medhane Alem church and the Gurguto natural Bridge.

Day 5: Drive to Bebeka

Stop At: Mizan Teferi, Mizan Teferi, Southern Nations, Nationalities, and People's Region
You will be driven to Bebeka (30 km from Mizan Tefari) right after breakfast. There you will check into a hotel and after a brief break, you will have lunch. Later you will visit the largest Coffee Plantation in Ethiopia (covers some 6,000 hectares and is the largest and oldest Coffee Plantation in Ethiopia).

Day 6: Bebeka

Stop At: Mizan Teferi, Mizan Teferi, Southern Nations, Nationalities, and People's Region
In the morning after having breakfast explore the coffee plantation from seedling to Coffee Bean. Taste the Ethiopian Coffee Arabic at Bebeka. Stay the day in Bebeka.

Day 7: Bebeka - Jimma

Stop At: Jimma, Jimma, Oromiya Region
In the morning after breakfast you drive back to Jimma. Depending on arrival you can continue a visit to the Jimma attractions. Visit the historical palace of Sultan Abba Jifar (1853 โ€“ 1925) that is standing at Jiren. Still stands with its colourful architectural beauty. And continue your visit to Jimma museum that displays most of the historical materials of King Abba Jifar, his kingdom and cultural objects of the local Oromo people and that of the other ethnic groups around Kaffa.

Day 8: Fly Jimma - Addis Ababa

Stop At: Addis Ababa, Addis Ababa
Upon arrival visit Coffee processing & Warehouse Enterprises (where the sorting, the quality control, cupping, packaging and shipment taken place). You will have lunch in Addis Ababa. Finally you will be taken to a farewell dinner to Ethiopian traditional restaurant where you will taste Ethiopian food & drinks and a live music & dance.
