Day 1: Guwahati to Bhalukpong

Stop At: Bhalukpong, Bhalukpong, West Kameng District, Arunachal Pradesh
Arrive by flight/train to Guwahati and drive to Bhalukpung approx. (240 kms/5 hrs drive) only possible if guest is arriving morning flight (in case guest arrives in afternoon, better to take one night stay in Guwahati and take this tour next day) Bhalukpong, the sylvan paradise in Arunachal Pradesh. On arrival, check into a hotel. Overnight at hotel

Day 2: Bhalukpong to Dirang

Stop At: Dirang, Dirang, West Kameng District, Arunachal Pradesh
After breakfast drive to Dirang that has a picturesque Monpa Valley (8600ft). En-route visit Tippi Orchid Garden (closed on Sunday) one of Asiaโ€™s largest gardens of orchids that houses over 450 rare orchids out of 1000 found in India. After visit drive to Dirang enjoying en-route enjoying lots of water falls, rope bridges and Kameng River along side the drive. Please note 30-40 km roads are under construction as BRO is developing the roads (I visited the in Octโ€™19) so it amounts to whole day drive to . Upon arrival check in to the hotel. Day 3: Dirang

Stop At: Dirang, Dirang, West Kameng District, Arunachal Pradesh
Breakfast at hotel, proceed for full day excursion to Dirang, Visit the old Dirang Dzong, a historic village of the Monpa tribe built within a 300 year fortress. Explore the fort and see the old Khastong Gompa. One can also learn about the culture of the Monpa people which has been influenced by Tibetan Buddhism. Spend the day visiting orchards, hot water springs around Dirang. One can also visit the beautiful Sangti valley (1 hour) or Thembang village nearby. Later enjoy Lunch on the banks of Dirang River in Sangti Valley.(direct payment) Later proceed for the visit of Dirang Monastery (Kalchakra Gompa) In evening return to hotel, overnight at hotel

Day 4: Dirang to Tawang

Stop At: Tawang, Tawang, Tawang District, Arunachal Pradesh
Breakfast at hotel, drive to Tawang we will leave for one of the most popular tourist destinations, Tawang. We will be driving through the beautiful valley of Dirang to reach Sela Pass (13703 ft). En-route bubbling river and colorful tribes will greet you. On reaching spend some time around the paradise lake (Sella Lake), which is the land of the Monpa tribes and a major center of the Mahayana Buddhism. Later, we will continue our drive to Tawang. On the way we will stop to visit 1962 Indo-China War Memorial, which is dedicated to Rifleman Jaswant Singh Rawat, of the 4th Battalion of Garhwal Rifles Infantry Regiment. He showed his heroism by fighting and holding the attack of China back for 72 hours all alone. Singh remained at his post at an altitude of about 10,000 feet before succumbing to an enemy bullet during that bloody winter war. The memorial is located 25 km before Tawang and is surrounded by scenic terrain just below the Sela Pass. This is the place where you can some eatables like Samosa, Pastry, Dosa kind of stuffs and also you can buy some warm clothes in case you are not carrying (this is Military Canteen, warm clothes are subject to availability) Also visit Jung Fall (fall is active during rainy season and during winter falls are dry) Later drive to Tawang, Tawang: The area of the district is approximately 2085 sq. km. bordered by Tibet in the North, Bhutan in the South-West and Sela ranges separate West Kameng district in the East. Elevations range between 6,000 to 22,000 feet (6,700 m), and inhabitants are found at lower altitude, where they enjoy a cool temperate climate. Tawang is both historically and naturally endowed. It is located at a distance of 183 Kms from Bomdila and 140 Kms from Dirnag and is situated at an altitude of 3500 metres above sea level. The natural beauty and solitude of Gudpi and Chong-Chugmi ranges, Tawang chu River and Tawang valley are very mesmerizing. The inhabitants of the districts are all of Monpa tribes except Shyo village which is dominated by people of Tibetian origin. There are two major religious festivals of the Monpas viz "LOSAR" and "TORGYA". Both festivals are celebrated once annually. The LOSAR s celebrated to the commencement of New year. Every third year of Torgya, the festival of Dungyur is celebrated. Both "Dungyur and Torgya" festivals are celebrated at the premises of the Tawang Monastery with traditional gaiety and enthusiasm. There are many beautiful grlacial lakes in and around Tawang with crystal blue waters such as Sela lake, P.T.Tso lake, Sangetser lake, Banggachang lake and many more. Day 5: Tawang

Stop At: Tawang, Tawang, Tawang District, Arunachal Pradesh
Breakfast at hotel, Leisurely start your day a full day excursion around Tawang. We will visit the famous Tawang Monastery, which was founded by Mera Lama Lodre Gyaltso. He was a contemporary of the fifth Dalai Lama and founded the Monestery during 17th century A.D. At present it accommodates over 500 monks and houses priceless Buddhist texts and scriptures. Later, we will go on a short trek to Bramdungchung Ani Gomap, which is the abode of nuns and the oldest Ani Gompa in Tawang. The Gompa is situated in the lap of a far off mountain laced with natural scenery and comes under the administration of Tawang Monastery. Later Visit Budha Park, War Memorial (in evening there is a Light and Sound show timings very in summer and winter days) In the evening we will visit Urgelling Monastery, situated 5 km to the south of town. It was here in 1683 Tsangyang Gyatso, the sixth Dalai Lama was born. We will also visit the Monpa Village. In the evening Center and traditional you can visit the Craft Monpa Village. Day 6: Tawang to Bomdila

Stop At: Bomdila, Bomdila, West Kameng District, Arunachal Pradesh
Breakfast at hotel Drive to Bomdila, Bomdila is located at 27.25ยฐN 92.4ยฐE. It has an average elevation of 2217 metres (7273 feet). It is 109 km from Bhalukpong and is the headquarters of West Kameng District. The place is inhabited by tribes like Aka (Hrusso), Miji (Sajalong), Monpa, Sherdukpen, and Khawas. The craft centers, monasteries, ethnographic museum and emporium etc. are worth visiting. One can also watch various snow clad mountain peaks from Bomdila including the Kangto and Gorichen Peaks which are the highest peak of the state. With snow clad Himalayan mountain ranges and lush greenery to flaunt its natural beauty and various crafts to boast of its rich culture and lifestyle, Bomdila ranks amongst the leading tourist destinations in Arunachal Pradesh. Bomdila is a photographerโ€™s delight, as the snow-capped mountain ranges of Himalayas offer spectacular views. To enjoy the essence of nature in its varied forms, you could not think of a better place than Bomdila. Later in afternoon proceed for the visit of Bomdila Monestry which was constructed by Tsona Gontse Rinpoche proceed for the visit of Bomdila, the 12th reincarnate. The monastery is one of the most famous attractions of Bomdila and was inaugurated in 1965. Bomdila monastery is abode to Buddhist Monks and Lamas. Day 7: Bomdila to Guwahati
