      After you arrive to Lima, pass through immigrations, retrieve your luggage, clear customs and enter the terminal your driver will be waiting with our blue & gold ILE Tours sign. You will be driven 45 min to check in to your Miraflores hotel. Enjoy the nearby shopping and restaurants in Miraflores if you arrive early enough. Overnight Lima.


  • Day 2 Day 2: Lima City Tour

      At 2PM you will be met in your hotel lobby by your guide and driver and taken on a private city tour of Lima. Visit the Plaza Mayor, San Francisco Convent & catacombs off Lima Main Square is a sprawling monastery complex containing cloisters, convent, temple, 2 churches, library, tomb of Spanish conquistador Francisco Pizarro and catacombs. Completed in 1674. This is a meandering, thoughtful tour to enjoy frescoes on hallway walls, sculptures and history. LOW CEILINGS IN DARK CATACOMBS! WALK SLOWLY, DONโ€™T BANG YOUR HEAD IN LOW DOORWAYS, ARCHWAYS and LOW CEILINGS. You will be returned to your hotel after the tour. Overnight Lima

  • Day 3 Day 3: Lima - Paracas - Ballestas

      Day 3: Lima - Paracas - Ballestas

      3AM transfer to Crus del Sur bus terminal by your driver for the 4 hour drive south to Paracas. After checking in to your hotel you will be taken by your local guide to the port for a delightful boat tour of the Ballestas Island, also known as the โ€œsmall Galapagos โ€œ. Although the island is off limits to people so as not disturb the wildlife, your tour boat will get close enough for you to observe its amazing wildlife inhabitants such as pelicans, penguins, cormorants, Peruvian boobies, Inca terns and walruses.

      Keep your eyes open also for sea lions, turtles, dolphins, and whales. You will also be treated to a site from sea of the Paracas Candelabra. This is an ancient etching in the sand that may have been a beacon to sailors from long ago. After the boat tour you will be returned to your hotel in Paracas.

  • Day 4 Day 4: Nazca Lines - Lima

      Day 4: Nazca Lines - Lima

      Early in the morning after breakfast checkout of your hotel and be sure to leave nothing behind. Drive 4 hrs further south by tour bus to the small airport in Nazca for your aerial tour of the Nazca lines. These are giant figures etched in the sand that can only be appreciated fully by air. โ€จโ€จSee the Monkey, the spider, hummingbird and geometric birds. These mysterious huge โ€œdrawingsโ€ are possibly an astrological calendar but their construction and true intent are a mystery still. After the tour you will return to Lima and check in to your hotel. Overnight Lima

  • Day 5 Day 5: Lima - Cusco Flight. Cusco City Tour

      After breakfast and check out be sure to leave nothing behind in your hotel. You will be greeted by your driver and taken to the Lima airport 3.5 hrs before your flightโ€™s departure. After your one hour flight east over the Andes to Cusco, you will be greeted at the airport and taken to your hotel to check in. Rest and acclimate to Cuscoโ€™s 3,300 meter elevation. In the afternoon your guide will meet you in your hotel to begin your unforgettable Cusco City Tour. Visit the Plaza de Armas, Temple of the Sun (Koricancha) and afterwards you will go north to visit the ancient ceremonial sites of the Incas just outside of Cusco: the megalithic walls of Sacsayhuaman, Qโ€™enqo and Pucapucara . Also visit the baths, canals, aqueducts and waterfalls of Tambomachay. After completion of the tour you will be brought back to your hotel around sundown. Overnight Cusco

      One of the most important tours recommended by ILE Tours is the full day Sacred Valley Tour. Here you will learn of the Incas important and impressive legacy left to us by their knowledge of building with great respect for the sun and nature. After breakfast you will be greeted in your hotel and driven NE out of Cusco to Pisac. Stop periodically at scenic overlooks for pictures of the dramatic landscape before continuing on to Pisac. Known for its indigenous craft market Pisac was also the easternmost Inca fortress of the Sacred Valley. Visit the ruins high above the town square to the north.

      Next we will continue west through the Sacred Valley to the picturesque town of Urubamba where we will stop to enjoy an excellent Andean buffet lunch in one of the best restaurants. You will next visit the archaeological city of Ollantaytambo, the Incaโ€™s northern fortress where the Inca guarded the Sacred Valley to the north. Here you will appreciate the complexity of the magnificent Inca construction built in accordance with the landscape. Ollantaytambo still retains its original Inca style and layout with narrow streets and even narrower canals. Board your afternoon train to Aguas Calientes (90 min) where you will be met and escorted to your hotel on foot.  Overnight in the lively town of Aguas Calientes.

  • Day 7 Day 7: Machu Picchu Tour. Return To Cusco

      Day 7: Machu Picchu Tour. Return To Cusco

      After breakfast check out and store your overnight bags with your hotel. You will be met by your guide to walk to the buses to take you up to Machu Picchuโ€™s entrance (20 min).  Enjoy 2  hrs with your guide then have plenty of time to hike and explore the park on you own.  Machu Picchu was probably an estate of the Inca Pachacutec, who also designed Cusco.  It was a town with individual  homes for nobility made in the classical Inca style with polished dry-stone walls.  Its 3 three primary structures are the Intihuatana, the Temple of the Sun, and the Room of the Three Windows. The magnificence of this site is fully appreciate at sunrise.  As the mist rises just after sunrise the site itself is revealed to you. Like a saddle straddling a mountaintop, Machu Picchu sits hidden amongst other spectacular surrounding mountains. When finished take one of the continuous running buses back down to Aguas Calientes. Retrieve your bags from your hotel and be at the train station in time for you train back/bus back to Cusco (3.5 hrs).  Overnight Cusco.

  • Day 8 Day 8: Cusco - Lima

      After breakfast and check out be sure to leave nothing behind in your Cusco hotel. You will be transferred 15 min to the Cusco airport for your one-hour flight back to Lima and your final destination
