Day 1: Accra - Akosombo

Stop At: Legon Botanical Gardens, Haatso-Atomic Road, Haatso Ghana
We will explore the Legon and Aburi botanical gardens of Accra. After exploring the magnificent gardens we will begin the journey to a riverside retreat in Akosombo
Duration: 3 hours

Stop At: Sajuna Beach Club, Akosombo Road between Senchi and Atimpoku, Tema Ghana
We will make a stop at Sajuna Beach Club and have a boat ride on the Akosombo lake
Duration: 1 hour

Day 2: Akosombo - Liate Wote

Stop At: Tafi Atome Monkey Sanctuary And Cultural Village, Tafi Atome Ghana
On day three, we will head to the Tafi Atome Monkey Sanctuary. At the sanctuary, you will get the chance to play with, feed, and observe monkeys in their natural environment.


Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Mount Afadja, Ghana
we will set off for the remote village of Liate Wote. On the way you will get the opportunity to trek through remote villages, and climb mount Afadjato the highest mounting in Ghana.

Stop At: Wli Waterfalls, Hohoe Ghana
Wli Waterfalls is the highest waterfall in Ghana and the tallest in West Africa. It has a lower and an upper fall. We will spend some time hiking the mountain to see the beautiful waterfall

Day 3: Liate Wote - Kumasi

Stop At: Likpe Mate, Ghana
Early in the morning, we will visit the six Lipke caves to learn the history of the caves. After the caves we depart to Kumasi

Stop At: Manhyia Palace Museum, Ahanti New Town Road off Antoa Road, Kumasi Ghana
We will start the day with a visit to the Manhyia Palace. The Manhyia Palace is the home of the Asantehene, the absolute monarch of the Ashanti kingdom. At the palace youโ€™ll get the opportunity to learn first-hand about the Ashantiโ€™s epic history.

Stop At: Okomfo Anokye Sword Site, Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, Kumasi Ghana
After learning about the history of the Ashanti kingdom we will visit the Okomfo Anokye Sword site to learn the history of the mysterious sword
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Lake Bosumtwi, 30 km south-east of Kumasi Ghana
To conclude the history packed day we will travel to Lake Bosumtwi. At the lake youโ€™ll be able to relax in nature while enjoying magnificent views. It is the only natural lake in Ghana formed by a meteorite strike many years ago. The name of the lake means "Antelope God"

Day 4: Kumasi - Kintampo

Stop At: Bobiri Forest Reserve, Off Kumasi-Accra Road Ghana
On day four, you will get the opportunity to explore Lake Bosumtwi, the Bobiri forest, and the Bobiri butterfly reserve.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Boabeng Fiema Monkey Sanctuary, Nkoranza Ghana
On day four you get the opportunity to play with monkeys at Boabeng Fiema Monkey Sanctuary with over 700 Geoffreyโ€™s Pied Colombus and Campbell Mona monkeys, in a natural environment, see wildlife, and explore caves.

Stop At: Tano Sacred Grove, Tanoboase Ghana
After youโ€™ve spent some time getting to know the monkeys we will head to the Tano Boase rock formation. At Tano Boase, youโ€™ll explore sacred groves and caves where villagers sought refuge during slave raids and tribal wars

Day 5: Kintampo - Damango

Stop At: Kintampo Falls, Kintampo Ghana
On day five you will get the opportunity to swim under waterfalls and experience a canopy walkway
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Fuller Falls, Yabraso - west of of Kintampo, Kintampo Ghana
We will also visit fuller falls and explore the beautiful waterfalls and its surrounding forest before driving to Mole National Park
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Mole National Park, Larabanga Ghana
On day 5 youโ€™ll get to experience an African safari to see wildlife.

Day 6: Damango

Stop At: Mole National Park, Larabanga Ghana
We will wake up bright and early at Mole National Park. From the park we will take an all terrain vehicle and begin the journey into the jungle.

We will return by 8am for breakfast. After breakfast weโ€™ll start the second safari of the day. This expedition will be on foot through the dense jungle

Stop At: Mole National Park, Larabanga Ghana
We will make a trip to Larbanga mosque. The Larabanga Mosque is a mosque, built in the Sudanese architectural style in the village of Larabanga, Ghana. It is the oldest mosque in the country and one of the oldest in West Africa.

We will then drive to one of the historic cities in Ghana, Cape Coast

Day 7: Damango - Cape Coast

Stop At: Ancestral Slave River Park, Assin Manso Ghana
We will make a stop at Assin Manso Slave River. Assin Manso was the final link in the slavery route from northern Ghana, and it was known to have been the largest slave market for merchants before taken them to Cape Coast Slave Castle
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Cape Coast Castle, Cape Coast Ghana
We will visit the Cape Coast Slave Castle. Youโ€™ll be met by the local guides, and taken on a tour youโ€™ll never forget. After learning the history, the guides will set you free to explore everything from the grim dark dungeons to the magnificent cannon lined catwalks

Stop At: Kakum National Park, Cape Coast Ghana
From Cape Coast we will visit the Kakum National Park. The park is rich in butterflies and birds, including African grey parrots and horn-bills. The Canopy Walkway, suspended 45 meters above the ground, provides treetop views of the forest. We will use the canopy walkway to explore the beautiful forest

Stop At: Fort St Jago, Just Northwest of St George's Castle, Elmina Ghana
After exploring the Cape Coast Castle, weโ€™ll also explore Elmina Castle and to Fort Jago. At the castles youโ€™ll once again be met by the local guides who will take you on another incredible tour! After the tour, youโ€™ll once again have time to explore on your own.
