About experience

Take an 8 days and 7 nights cruise to the Isle of Pines. The usual program is as follows (may be modified en route due to weather):

Day 1:ย At 5pm,ย depart from Noumea.ย Sail a few hours and anchor for the night near the island Ouen (see map previously sent).

Day 2:ย Sail to a southern island. Snorkel and trek on the beach.

Day 3:ย Navigate to the Isle of Pines, reached in the afternoon. Enjoy the bay of Kuto or Kanumera. There may be free time to walk around the peninsula of Kuto (about one hour).

Day 4:ย You will have morning free time and may have time toย visit the ruins of the prison (two hours walk) and/or snorkel around the rock Kanumera. At 11am, navigate (one hour) to anchor off the Ilot Brosse for a lobster meal (upon availability of the head of the tribe). There is a possibility you can cross the island (20 min) to join the Nursery blacktip shark babies and then trek around the island (one hour). In the evening, head back to Kuto or Kanumera. Enjoy free time until dinner or shopping at the boutique.

Day 5:ย The cruises navigates in the morningย to reach the Bay of Oro. Optionally, you can navigateย by canoe in the bay Upi (two hours), and after a walk of 40 minutes, reach the natural pool known for its fish and corals. These activities can be booked for you, and you pay directly to the local providers. Savor a shore lunch of cooked bougna. In the afternoon, you have free time for snorkeliing or sitting on the beach.

Day 6:ย Sail to reach the Bay of Gadji. Snorkel over the coral. Take a short stroll on an island or enjoy sunbathing.

Day 7:ย Navigate to another southern island and participate in snorkelling and beach activities.ย 

Day 8:ย Return toย Noumea with a stop for lunch off a little island (about two hours). Arrive in Noumea at aboutย 5pm.ย
